The Blood, Sex and Booze, chapter 2

Green Day were driving around in Oceanside, when they stopped at a local movie threater. That's where Billie Joe saw a pretty girl. A few months after him and Adrienne divocred, he was ready to date single women again.

This pretty girl was named Emily, Emily was a college graduate from Lincoln, Nebraska, who had moved to San Diego after finishing up college. She was 24-years old and was visting her sister Danielle, at the movie threater where she worked.

Billie Joe stares at beautiful Emily...

"Wow, shes a babe," He had said.
"Go check her out," Tre tells him.
"She looks kinda young, you know," Billie Joe said to Tre.
"Well whats the point of sitting in this van all day?" Mike asks.
"He's right, Billie, just pretend that your going to see a movie," Tre tells him.
"I don't want to lie to her," He saids with honesty.
"You wouldn't be lying I don't think," Tre said.
"You sure?" Billie Joe asks.
"Yes I'm sure enough," Tre tells.
"Well already then," Billie Joe tells Tre as he gets out of the front seat.

Billie Joe, nerves, walks over to the movie threater from the parking lot.

Emily walks over toward him.

"Excuse me, do you know where Maple Street is?" she asks.
"Hmm....I don't live in the area so I really don't know," He tells her.
"Oh, ok, thanks anyways". She tells him as she walks toward the parking lot.
"Hey! Wait." He runs as fast as the speed of sound to her.
"Yes?" Emily asks.
"Well, what's your name? He asks.
"Emily, and you?" She repiles and answers.
"Well, you won't believe this, I'm sure you wouldn't. But I'm Billie Joe Armstrong." He tells her.
"Really?" She asks him.
"Yes, I wouldn't lie about my very own name". He answers.
"Oh, cool. Aren't you in that band Green Day?" She asks him.
"Yep, I am," He answers.
"Well, Billie Joe, it was really nice to meet you," She said.
"Thanks, same here, and oh, before I head off. Can I have your number if you don't mind?" He asks her.
"Sure, why not," Emily tells him as she writes her number down on a piece of paper she had in her purse.
"Here you go," She said as she was handing the paper to him.
"Thanks, well bye," He said.
"Bye," She said back.

A lot of questions come up for Billie Joe when he gets back into the van.

"So, how did it go?" Mike asked.
"Great, I scored a number and did not get rejected," Billie Joe repiles.
"Excellent," Tre saids.
"Thanks. Dude ook I'm sorry for being pissy at you," He tells Tre.
"No problem, I'm over it already," He answers to Billie Joe.
