Dumpster Love, chapter 1
I had fallen in love twice with two wonderful women and had two kids because of them. But the two of them somehow thought that I wasn't good enough as a husband and cheated on me when I was on tour with Mike and Billie Joe. Both times I thought I wouldn't love again, but one day in May of 2004, I found the one most unexpected girl to fall in love with and her name was Jessie Belatrix.
Billie Joe, Mike, and I were walking down the streets of LA, looking around at all the shops. We were joking around about the next tour we had to go on, but Mike stopped abruptly, making me slam into his side. I looked at what he was staring at and rolled my eyes. Starbucks was across the street next to an alley.
"Oh Jesus," I sighed, following Mike with Billie Joe at my side. I put my hands in my pockets and followed them towards the Starbucks, but stopped when I heard talking in the alley.
"What are you doing, Tré?" Billie Joe asked me as Mike walked into the coffee shop.
"I'll be there in a second," I said, looking in the alleyway. "I see a twenty dollar bill on the ground." Billie Joe rolled his eyes and I waited for him to walk into the coffee shop before going into the alley. Two voices were arguing back and forth about something and then two girls came into view. Well, they were more like women around twenty seven or so.
"Jessie, you act like it's the end of the world," the one with the blonde hair spat.
"Val, he's a fucking spaz," Jessie said. My God, she was beautiful. She had dark red hair with natural blonde highlights, beautifully tan skin, and these awesomely bright blue eyes that shown in the sunlight. But there was something wrong with the picture. The two of them were wearing torn and worn down clothes that looked to be years old. And their faces were completely dirty and, well, I guess you could say that they were homeless by the looks of it. "I can't believe you let him get you pregnant."
"We love each other," Val yelled. "And he's not a spaz!"
"He does drugs," Jessie yelled. "And love is bullshit. There's no such thing, Val, you should know! You told me there wasn't any such thing!" Val turned towards my direction and stopped, her eyes going wide.
"Jessie," she said quietly. Jessie turned angrily and stared at me, her blue eyes looking angrily into mine. Shit...
