The Yearly Musical, chapter 1
Mandy steped out of the car and began to walk as her mother drove away. She had a black lacy glove on one hand and a black lacy purse in the other. She wore a black halter top and her own self-made skinny jeans with holes in the knees. A little nervous she began walking. She knew who she was looking for but at the same time she didnt. It was like all she knew was a name, William. Her and William used to date but she hadnt seen him since march, and it was now September. What she remembered was a boy a little taller than she was (which was no acomplishment seeing how she was only 5'2), light brown hair cut into an emo slice and bright blue eyes.
She continued to walk straight, looking around she was outside the Y, she had been there before a million times, but this time was different. She looked down at her feet as she walked. Her lime green checkard vans were still new but already becoming wore out. She looked up, and saw a taller boy standing fairly far away from her. He was bening over slightly trying to see her face. He had longer hair than most boys, cut at chin length all the way around, and it was jet black. He had a black Norma Jean t-shirt on and tight jeans that were held together with tape. Then Mandy noticed it. The boy had bright blue eyes. She smiled, he smiled.
"Hey," he said once she had gotten close enough to her.
"hey" she breathed out with a sigh of relief to have found him.
"I told you, you wouldn't recognize me," He smiled. Mandy laughed, he was right, she didnt belive he could change so much, while she stayed the same. She looked to her right and sitting there was a boy their age, with braces tight jeans a red t-shirt, sitting on a rock, Tom. He hadnt change a bit since the last time she had seen him, in fact it was quite possibe that the last time she saw him he was wearing that shirt. Tom was a friend of Williams and Mandy would often see him whenever she would get together with William.
"Hey Tom," she said with a quick wave.
Tom looked up, "Hi," he said very mono-tone.
Mandy also say Darian and another very short boy standing in a cowd behind a group of seen kids wich mandy had only seen on williams myspace. Did Darian ever look like a mini William, well, the old Willaim that Mandy used to know. It was obivous who much Darian wanted to be just like his big brother.
Mandy was nervous and for what seemed like the first time in her entire life was actually quiet. She just stood there and took this all in. Not only was William right about her not reconizing him, He was right bout another thing. Mandy would feel very out of place tonight.
