No One Puts Baby In The Corner, chapter 3

I stared at the man standing in front of me for what seemed like hours. He was just so perfect that I couldn't even breathe correctly. And even you think I'm kidding, damn, you surely don't know me then. I had a hard time blinking because of his beauty. No one could come close to this perfect.

His blue eyes were the color of the bluest ocean, his mouth a perfect heart shape, glistening like he had just taken a drink of water, hair the color of light, feathery chocolate, and a body to die for. A silver chain necklace lay against his neck and part of his dark blue t-shirt. His hands were stuffed in the pockets of his dark wash jeans, which partially covered his white etnies. A black dress shirt lay open over his t-shirt, creating a perfect image. And as I stared at him, his smile became wider.

"Hey," he said. And I instantly fell in love. His British accent went completely with his look and was so adorable. "I'm Danny." He took his right hand out of his pocket and held it out for me to take. I stared at his hand for a second before mentally kicking myself and took his hand.

"Jessie," I muttered, thankful that I hadn't said something stupid. He smiled again and we let go of each other's hands.

"So, Danny, what brings you back here?" Adrienne asked, hugging him lovingly.

"Well, I heard you were making dinner tonight, Mrs. Armstrong, and I decided to stop by," Danny said. Adrienne smiled and shook her head.

"Honestly, Danny, call me Adie," Adrienne said. "You don't have to be all proper around us. I mean look at Billie Joe. He never opens a door for me and he has no manners whatsoever...wait, I just explained someone who is the complete opposite of you. Go ahead and be proper, except start calling me Adie. I hate being called Mrs. Armstrong."

"Why, do you hate our last name," Billie Joe asked jokingly.

"No, it just makes me feel old," Adrienne said, shrugging. "And yes, Danny, I am making dinner tonight because we would all get food poisoning if Billie Joe even went within two feet of the food, cooked or uncooked."

"Mean," Billie Joe mumbled before going into the kitchen. Adrienne smiled at us one last time before heading into the kitchen as well. Danny and Joey embraced each other quickly.

"How've you been doing, Joey," Danny asked.

"Well, same old, same old," Joey said, shrugging. "How about you? Got any girlfriends I should know about?"

"Nah, I'm single," Danny said, waving his hand like it was nothing. But to me, it meant everything in the world. "Jessie, are you Joey's girlfriend?"

"Nope," I said, shaking my head. "I'm single also."

"Really," he said, nodding. "I'm surprised to say the least."

"Why," I asked.

"You're gorgeous," he said and then his cheeks went red. How adorable is that, seriously. I mean a man of his age should-wait, how old is he?

"Thanks," I said, blushing a bit also. "So, uh, Danny, how old are you?"

"Nineteen," he said, sitting on the couch. Joey sat next to him and I sat in the black loveseat on the right wall. "How about you? How old are you?"

"I'm sixteen," I said, shrugging. "I'm turning seventeen in October."

"So Danny, how has the band been going," Joey asked, taking Danny's attention away from me. Traitor...
