Being Held Hostage, chapter 1

"That was the best concert I've ever been to!" Mandy cried out. She and her friends were walking down the corridor of the stadium Green Day had just rocked.

"Mandy it was the only concert you've ever been to," Sarah laughed. Mandy stuck her tongue out at her. Next to Sarah was Alex who was still humming the tunes of the songs they had heard.

"Alex please! We just heard those songs louder than we will ever hear them. Can we not hum them?" Mandy asked, looking down the line of her two friends. Alex stopped and looked down towards the ground.

"My feet are killing me!" Alex protested them walking.

"Calm down we're almost to the door. I think," Sarah said. The three of them stopped in the middle of the corridor. They all looked around. That's when they noticed they hadn't been in this part of the stadium before.

"Um, why aren't there people around?" Alex asked.

"Yeah we just got out of a crowd of more than a thousand people. There should be at least someone around here," Mandy said.

"Wait a minute. I think I know where we are," Alex said. The three just stared at her. "My ballet performed here once. This is the back stage area."

A smile came across Sarah's face.

"That means Green Day's dressing room is back here!" She cried out.

"Yeah it's right over there. Or it should be." Alex pointed out.

"We should go!" Mandy said excitely.

"There are no security guards around Mandy," Sarah said to her.

"So?"

"So Green Day has obviously gone by now."

"Whatever let's just go see the room! Well the now empty room," Mandy said. They all started walking towards the dressing rooms. There it was. Green Day's dressing room. Sarah and Mandy gave out shouts of joy. They were about to step in the very same room Green Day did. Mandy grabbed hold of the door knob.

"Okay on three we open the door and dash in. If there is anyone around they're not gonna want us going around these dressing rooms. We'll have to be quick." The other three nodded their heads in agreement.

Mandy opened the door open as fast as she could. The three of them raced into the room. Before they could look around the room they had just entered, Mandy slammed the door shut.

"YES! WE DID IT!" Mandy screamed.

"What are you doing in here?" A voice came from behind them. Sarah and Alex turned around to notice they weren't the only ones in the room.

"Oh my god!" Sarah silently expressed.

"Well?" Billie asked. He stood up from the chair he was seating in. "Answer the question. What are you doing in here?" The girls were speechless. The couldn't believe what they were seeing.

"We...we..." Alex started.

"We were just wondering around. There was no one here so we thought we would see the dressing rooms." Mandy answered for her.

"If there was no one around, why?" Mike asked. He was still seated on the couch next to Tre. The two of them were laughing at the scared expressions on the girls faces.

"Here's a better question," Mandy started. "Why are you still here?"

Sarah and Alex gave out a gasp. Mandy had basically challenged Billie, how could she do that? Billie smiled. He turned back to his bandmates.

"This girl is cocky. I like her already," He said to them. He then turned back to Mandy. "We're still here because our bus is under attack."

"What?" Sarah asked. A look of confusion came over the three girls.

"One of our security guards went on our bus about thirty minutes ago and he was found dead only ten minutes later. Someone was on the bus waiting for the three of us to get on. They shot our guard thinking he was one of us," Tre answered.

"So what are you guys going to do?" Mandy asked.

"We were just going to wait around until the dude was caught, but they're taking to long. We just want to get to our hotel room," Mike answered.

"Where are you staying?"

"The four seasons."

"Sweet, that's not to far away. You guys could seriously walk there." Mandy responded.

"We don't really walk anymore," Billie said with a smile. The other two girls gave out a forced laugh. Mike and Tre laughed at their nervousness.

"We were actually heading out so I guess we'll get out of your way now..."Mandy stated. She nodded towards the other girls to follow.

"Wait!" Tre said. He stood up from the couch. "You guys got a car?"

Sarah nodded, Alex smiled hopefully and Mandy just stood in silence.

"Do you guys think you could give us a ride?" Mike asked. He stood up beside Tre. The smile on Alex's face grew. Mandy laughed a bit.

"You mean you guys are hitchin' a ride?" She asked. Billie just shook his head with a smile on his face.

"Yeah. Exactly."

"Sure, you guys can hop in the car." Mandy said. They all walked out of the dressing room and towards the main garage. The entered the now empty garage and headed towards Mandy's car.

They were nearly half way there when a black van started to come down the opposite way from where they were walking.

"They're going pretty fast," Mandy said. They all stared towards the black van. The lights were stopping them from noticing who was driving.

"I don't think they're stopping," Tre stated.

"It doesn't matter, we're at my car." Mandy said. They all huddled around the car and waited for Mandy to unlock it.

Suddenly the black van reached them. Once it was lined up with them it stopped. No one moved from within the van.

"Hey!" Billie shouted at the van. It was pitch black inside. "Hey buddy! What do you want?"

Suddenly the side door slid open. There were lights pouring and blinding everyone who were in front of them. All six of them were blinded. Mandy moved away from the drivers side door and started waving her arms around in front of her to find her friends. Out of no where a hand reached out and grabbed her arm. Mandy thought it was either Sarah or Alex. The hand wrapped around Mandy's arm pulled on her.

"Ah Sarah not so hard!" Mandy shouted. That's when the hand pulled Mandy completely away from her friends and into the van. Her head slammed up against the wall of the van, knocking her completely out.

The light continued to shine in all their eyes. Billie dropped to the ground in an attempt to get the light out of his eyes. He watched from the ground as the door to the van slammed shut and the black van drove off. He rubbed the pain of the light out of his eyes.

"What just happened?" Alex asked.

"I have no idea," Tre answered. They all stood together trying to regain their sight.

"Wait! Where's Mandy?" Sarah cried out.

"What about Mike?" Billie cried out also.

"Oh my god! They took them!"
