A Panic! At The Disco Story, chapter 2

-Blaise POV-

"I hate you."
"What?" Jess looked up at me, her mouth full of cheetos. I rolled my eyes in frustration and slumped into a nearby chair.
"The next time you want me to help out, maybe show me a picture of the band so I don't make myself seem like an idiot by bitching about them." I noticed Jess cover her mouth with her hand most likely in an attempt to stop herself laughing. I glared at her.
"What did you say?"
"Oh not much, just that the name of their band makes me picture John Travolta in tight clothes dancing to The Bee Gees."
"Haha, who'd you say it to?" I closed my eyes trying to remember the name.
"Burton, Brandon..."
"Brendon?"
"That's the one," I said pointing a finger at her. "Where are they now?" I asked noticing that no one was around. Jess got up and grabbed two cans of coke from the cooler and passed me one. I popped it open and took a big sip.
"They've gone out somewhere for a walk, stretch their legs, look at the scenery. Did you hear them rehearsing?" I shook my head
"I was too busy trying to find a hiding place." This time Jess didn't attempt to hide her laughter. "Shut up."

-Brendon's POV-

"Do you even know how to read a map?" I snapped at Jon. He quickly glanced at me before focusing his gaze back on the map.
"Sorry..." I muttered. I hadn't meant to snap, my legs were just getting tired from walking around in circles. Kinda my fault though, Jess had offered to show us around the city but me and my big head said that we didn't need a guide. Definitely get that from my father. This city was so different compared to Vegas though...well, every place we'd been to had been different from Vegas. It was a huge shock discovering all the things we'd never been exposed to. It was weird.
"Well...we are at..." Ryan looked around probably trying to find a street sign. I also decided to help out by looking.
"Oak Avenue." Ryan smiled at me. I would've smiled back if Jon hadn't pissed me off by bitching about Oak Avenue not being on the map. I was about to snap at him again when Spencer came to the rescue.
"Guys. I have an idea." We all turned to him expectantly. He merely produced his phone and pressed speed dial 5.

10 minutes later we were all back in the car driving back to the venue. As we were getting out, I spotted Blaise carrying a giant box into the building.
"Hey," I called out to her. She looked around trying to locate the voice. My voice. When she finally spotted me her eyes went wide and she quickened her pace. I'm not sure but I think she might've blushed.
"Who was that?" Ryan asked coming over to me.
"Uh..Blaise..she works here or something..."
"She's pretty."
"Yeah," I agreed. Ryan rested his elbow on my shoulder and looked at me, and I looked back at him. "Problem?" He took back his shoulder and shrugged. "I have to pee again," I said starting to walk off.
"Again?" I smiled stupidly
"The coffee goes right through ya."

-Blaise's POV-

"You can't just keep hiding. I need you tonight." I set down the box next to a bunch of others all containing the merchandise that was going to be sold tonight.
"I'm not hiding..I'm just..trying to get stuff done."
"You're hiding. It's funny." I gave Jess a look.
"And why is it funny?"
"Okay, not so much funny as it is cute. I don't even remember the last time you got embarrassed." She was right. I never got embarrassed, I wasn't one to care about offending either. Strange...
"Anyways, if you're not embarrassed then why don't you go ask them if there's anything else they need in their dressing room?" She motioned towards to hallway past the door where I saw Brendon walking towards the room we were in.
"Fine. I will." I turned as if going to walk into the corridor but reached into my pocket and pressed a button on my cell phone. 'Lost Boys' by The 69 Eyes started playing and I pulled out the phone as though I was recieving a call.
"Hello?" I said to no one. I held the phone to my chest. "Sorry Jessie, I have to take this. You can ask him right? Great." I smiled and left the room the other way, closing my phone as I did.

"Lovely." I rolled my eyes as I was handed a bunch of water bottles. I let out a sigh as I began walking towards the dressing room. I could only faintly hear The Dresden Dolls beginning their set. It kinda bugged me that the majority of the building had been sound proofed. I didn't mind The Dresden Dolls. Now outside the dressing room I knocked softly on the door.
"Come in." I opened the door.
"Okay..." I look at their clothes...it had been a while since I'd seen a band perform in suits. And fairy make-up. A guy who I thought couldn't be older than 15 stood up, his eyes surrounded by coloured patterns. Head fairy, I decided.
"Blaise, right?" I nodded recognizing his voice as the one that asked me to come in. He smiled. Cute.
"Uh..these are for you guys..." I motioned to the water bottles I was balancing in on my arms. Head fairy reached forward and grabbed them, passing them to the others.
"I'm Ryan."
"Blaise."
"You already said that."
"Oh yeah." I scrunched up my nose. "How old are you, like 15?" I hadn't meant to just blurt that out. The other guys seemed to find it somewhat entertaining, letting out small chuckles. I noticed then that Brendon was the only one whose face didn't seem to be decorated.
"I'm 20. But...thanks?"
"Sorry, I have a habit of not thinking before I speak."
"So I've noticed." I glanced at Brendon.
"Rude." I said giving him a dirty look.
"Sorry..." I shook my head in frustration. One of the other band members stood up quickly off the couch
"I'm Spencer and that's Jon." He pointed to a guy on the phone. "He's not usually rude with the whole talking on his phone. His girlfriend got a job or something..." I just smiled and nodded. Head fairy. Ryan, looked like he was about to say something when Amanda barged in, dabbing her face with a towel.
"We're done, I reckon we've got them all excited for you guys. Good luck." It was then that she noticed me, we looked each other up and down before smirking. We hi-fived eachother as I left the room.
"What was that? Some weird girl thing?" I smiled at Brendon's stupidity as I went in search of the rest of the crew.
