Why Is This Happening To Me?, chapter 1

After my family "split up" you could say, I decided to live with my older brother Billie Joe. He was the only person in my family that really understood me. Even though we have been through some hard times in the past with the family because of his strange condition. Some lucky people get better as they get older but sadly, Billie Joe wasn't one of those people. But his disorder didn't really get "bad" until he was about 33 years old. But once he was in the hospital for a long time but that was because he got into a car accident and a car crashed into his side of the car and he got head damage and he punctured his kidney. Well, here's my story...

Billie Joe laid in bed for a few minutes tiredly. I mean, he DID just wake up after all. After lying in bed he got up and turned the coffee maker on and made coffee and then walked into the living room and watched the weather.

About two hours later I woke up and went downstairs. "Hey Billie," I said as I yawned.

"Good morning Emmy," Billie replied.

I walked over to the couch and sat down next to Billie Joe. "What cha watching?" I asked.

"The weather," Billie replied. "Do you wanna go out for breakfast?" Billie asked me.

"Yeah sure." I replied happily. "Ok. We'll leave in a little while alright?" Billie said.

"Ok," I replied.

Billie had the remote on the coffee table so I grabbed it and changed the channel to Fuse. "Hey Emmy! Turn the weather back on!" Billie shouted.

"Sorry! Sorry!" I replied. Then I went upstairs and got my pink and black Adeline street t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and my height tops on. Then I went back into the living room. Billie Joe was already ready to go.

"Ready kiddo?" he asked me.

"Yup!" I replied. Then we left.

"Pancakes are awesome!" I exclaimed as I finished my last little piece of my chocolate chip pancake.

"Yeah," Billie replied smiling weakly. I just smiled back. Then Billie took out his wallet, paid, and we both left.

The drive home was very quiet but I just listened to Weezer on my walkman not caring about the world around me. Well, until Billie lost control of the car for a second. "What was that for?!" I asked frantically.

"Nothing. I'm sorry," Billie replied. I shrugged and put my walkman back on my head until Billie shouted.

"What's wrong?!" I shouted. Billie didn't answer. Then I looked out the window and noticed that we were pulling into a parking lot.

When we parked Billie put his seat back and laid down and clutched his stomach. "What should I do? Call 911? I got it! I'll call Mike!" I thought to myself. Then I grabbed Billie's cell phone and called Mike. "Hello?...Mike? It's Emilee! I need your help! Billie's having a problem and I don't know what to do!" I shouted.

"Ok, ok. Calm down Emilee. What's the problem?" Mike asked.

"I don't know!" I replied.

"Ok. I'll be right there. Where are you?" Mike asked. "In the parking lot of stop and shop," I replied. Then I hung up and tried to calm Billie down.

Then a few minutes later Mike was knocking on the door on my side of the car. I opened the door and then I hopped in the backseat and Mike sat where I was. "Hey Bill! It's Mike man! Calm down ok?" Mike said trying to calm Billie down.

"Ah!" was all Billie said. Well, shouted. But eventually, he calmed down. "I NEVER had pain that bad as long as I had that disease! What was that all about?!" Billie asked.

Mike and I shrugged. "Ok Billie. If you need anything just call me. Ah! Bill! Now you got me sounding like...like...your mother!" Mike said.

"Well, my mother before she turned her back on everyone that bit..." Billie paused and looked at me. I gave him an evil look. I hated it when Billie Joe talked bad about Mom. "Sorry Em," Billie muttered.

"Whatever," I replied angrily.

"Well, uh...bye folks!" Mike said. Then he got out of the car and drove home. Soon, so did BJ and I too.

When we got home Billie Joe took his meds and went to bed. "Hey, uh...can I go to Tiffany's house?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure. Have fun," Billie replied.

"Yay!" I shouted. Then I called Tiffany and I went over to her house and I ended up sleeping over.

The next day

The doorbell rang so Billie Joe got up and answered the door. It was his old friend John. "Hey John! I haven't seen you in so long!" Billie said trying to give John a hug but he pulled away and walked into the house. "Uh...come on in?" Billie said confused.

"I haven't come to chat Billie Joe. I've come for revenge," John said firmly.

"Uh...why John?" Billie asked still confused.

"Ok, my name isn't John anymore, it's AL, got it? And you called me a bad drummer!" Al shouted.

"Uh...I don't remember calling you a bad drummer Joh...I mean Al," Billie said.

"Yes you did Billie Joe. Think hard now. Well, I can see how that might be hard for you because of your stupidity. You were always a fool. You were too stupid to even finish high school!" Al shouted.

"No...I never called you a bad drummer," Billie said.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I'm an unsuccessful drummer. That's right," Al said with a wide grin on his face.

"But...I...you..." Billie studered.

"Heh! All coming back to you now eh? Thought that you would remember. After all of the good times! You turn around and say I'm unsuccessful! Green Day would too be just as successful as it is with me as the drummer!" Al shouted. Billie was speechless. "Ok man. I'm sorry. Hey! Do you still have old blue! heh! That old thing!" Al said in a sweet tone.

"Uh....yeah. And I would appreciate it if you didn't call blue a thing because blue is not a thing! Blue is my most treasured guitar!" Billie shouted loosing his patience with Al.

"sorry," Al replied. "Can I see it?" Al said.

"Sure," Billie said with a sigh. Then he went to show Al blue.

"You know what Billie Joe? You look...depressed and since I'm such a good friend, I'm gonna put you out of your misery," Al said when him and Billie reached Billie's room.

"Wha...what?" Billie asked in a shaky voice. He was terrified now. Al knew Billie Joe's weakness. He pulled out a gun. "Hey man...we...we...we don't need anyone getting hurt here, do we? Whoa, man, what are you gonna do?" Billie said as he stood in the corner of his room.

"You messed with the wrong guy Billie Joe," Al relied evilly.

"Al...please don't do this! I have a little sister to take care of now! Please don't do this!" Billie pleaded.

"Too late Billie boy," Al replied.

"AL NO!" Billie shouted but then he did it.

"Sell-out," Al said. Then he walked out of the room and out of the house.

"That's it for me. It's all over now. I gotta get help. Ah! My stomach hurts! He got me! AH!" Billie thought to himself. Then he cried on the floor in pain. "Oh man! Now I feel cold. I NEED A PHONE! I...I...H...H...help..." Billie said to himself but then he lost consciousness.
