Memoirs of a past life, chapter 1
As I stood along the line of a Green Day concert, I was ecstatic because I was there with my best friend, Ruby, and she loved Green Day almost as much as me.
"Come on! I can hear them setting up!" I urged.
"T.J., calm yourself down; there's still 4 hours until the concert even starts," she said angrily.
We walkled to the front gate and showed our tickets, and we were in. There were about 50 other people there and as crazy as we were.
*During the concert*
I almost died when the first note of whatsername started up, and to my surprise, I was the only one singing besides my Ruby.
The staff noticed that and gave us backstage passes.
*Backstage*
"Sup?" Billie Joe said warmly to me.
"Not much," I relplied
"Who's your friend?" Tre asked
"I'm Rachel, but my freinds call me Ruby," she said.
"R-U-B-Y? I LIKE IT!" he responded.
They went off together, and I didn't see them until the end of the night.
"So...did you like the concert?" Billie Joe asked.
"Ya! It was kickin'!" I responded.
Billie Joe looked away from me and didn't seem as friendly as he was before.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing," he whispered.
"Come on, tell me; I promise I won't tell a soul," I said with compassion.
He didn't say anything, he just kissed me and kissed me. I, of course, kissed back; I thought he was the coolest, hottest, and sexiest man alive.
*After kiss*
"What was that for?" I asked, confused.
"I saw you while I was on stage, and I couldn't keep my eyes off you," he said passionately.
"What about your wife?" I asked him.
"You said you wouldn't tell anyone; that includes her!" he said, sort of mad.
"I won't, I promise," I said.
"I'll never forget you, T.J.," he said as he looked into my eyes.
"Me neither," I said.
We shared one last kiss, and I went to find Ruby.
When I found her, she asked, "What happened?"
"Oh, nothing," I replied. "Nothing at all."
"Come on! I can hear them setting up!" I urged.
