My life Story..., chapter 1

"My life story," I thought to myself, writing in a note book.
"Let's think." I tapped the notebook with my pen, while sitting up in bed.
"Well, where do I start? I am Sydney Smith. Well, I was born January 1st 1979. I was an accident child. I have two older siblings. Suzy is 38 and Robby is 39. They were Perfect children, never messed up. I was the missed up one," I continued to write.
"I was the one who tried things in high school. Drugs, Parties, fun. I went to prom night, with my dear loving crush. We partied had fun, got knocked up. Oh, yes, I got knocked up. Oh and I have to tell you he was graduating, so he couldn't help me raise the baby. Parents got mad, kicked me out. I went through college well did, until Everest popped out. Everest is my angel. I can't live without her," I smiled.
"Yeah, she's a splitting image of me. My beautiful daughter 8 years old. Wow. Oh yes, I did meet the man of my dreams. He said he loved me and Everest. Until he knocked me up and left. We were happy, got married, we wanted kids. Then after a month of my hormones he packed up and left. Left me with $100 000 and left. Everest and I moved out of Colorado. My parents didn't want me; nether did the rest of my family. I stayed with a good friend of mine for a couple months, then in April of 2005 we moved to Oakland California. Everest picked where we were going to live. I opened up the Atlas of the United States. She pointed to the State of California, and I picked the area," I smiled and continued to write until...

"Mommy! Mommy!" Everest called out. I ran down the hall to her bedroom.
"What is it honey?" I asked her.
"Mommy, I had a bad dream," she cried.
"What happened?"
"Well, you left me and no one could save me."
"Oh, sweetie. Would you like to sleep with me in my bed?" she nodded. "Honey, mommy can't carry you. Mommy is 8 months pregnant."
"I know mommy," she said and ran to the bedroom. I followed.
"Mommy, when are you going to know if the baby is a boy or a girl?"
"When he or she is born."
I turned off the light beside the bed, and we fell fast asleep.
