"What'd you expect? WE'RE GREEN DAY!!", chapter 1

First things first I guess. My name is Christina Drinty. I'm 12 years old. My two, well, only friends, are Jennifer and Cori. I'm an only child, though I wish I had a brother or sister to share the pain with me. Yeah, my mom is evil!! She's 100% Christian, which is why I hate her and she hates me. She can't except me for who I am. Everytime I disagree with her, or don't do what she tells me to, She sends me to her room. That's right, her room. She says it's because her room will 'Get rid of the pain in me' when it just adds more anger!

"CHRISTINA!!" Crap, What did I NOT do this time?
"Yes Mother," I said, trying to sound innocent.
"Did you do your homework?"
"Yes Mom! It's all done!"
"Okay then, you have some friends down stairs!"
"Okay, okay."

Yeah, she doesnt sound bad yet, but just wait.

"Hey J-Jay, hey Mrs.Prince." J-Jay is Jennifer, Mrs. Prince is Cori. He got that name because how girly he acts sometimes to cheer everyone up.
"Hey Chris!" they said in responce
"Oh, why do you kids use such unnecesary names?"
"Sorry Mom. C'mon yall, lets go to my room!" I said, hoping to get away before we're attacked.
"No you dont Christana Marie Drinty! You are staying down here!"
"But mom!! I didnt do anything!"
"Yes you did, I found another Green Day CD in your room!!"
"Oh C'mon mom! Its just a CD." It's not really JUST a CD, its a CD from the best band in the world!
"Nope, its gothic-emo music, so I threw it away."
"ERRR MOM! Why? I spent twenty-three dollars on it!"
"No, you're staying down here." See what I mean, she's plain evil!
"Fine," I said, turning on the radio. It was still set on the Gospel station my mom was listening to last night. I changed it to 95.1.
"And now, St.Jimmy."
"OOH! Christina, this is that Christian song I've always wanted to hear! St.Jimmy!"
I dont think she knows Green Day wrote that song. Uh-oh! If shes hears it, I'll never be able to listen to music ever again!!!
"Umm, no it's not! Its, umm, Raining Victory, by, uhhh, Mayday?"
"Nice save," J-Jay whispered to me.
"Thanks," I whispered back turning the stereo down. "Can we please go to my room, Mom?"
"Fine I guess, but no Green Day stuff!"
"Okay, okay, thanks." We are finally free!

Right when we got to my room, my mom called for me, souding mad.
"CHRISTINA!"
"What now mom!??"
"That song was St.Jimmy-"
"And now you see how good Green Day is and you'll let me listen to them whenever I want?"
"NO! You are grounded!! Jennifer, Cori, LEAVE!"
The thing about J-Jay and Cori, is that their parents aren't too perfect either. They go out and get drunk every night, then, well, lets just say J-Jay and Cori like school better than home, because they have nothing to worry about there, except for people seeing their bruises and scars.
"Y'all go home, and call me when you're parents are asleep."
"Why?" Cori asked.
"You two couldnt possibly take anymore beatings, and I'm sick and tired of my mom. We're running away from home tonight."
