Tre, can't live with or without him!, chapter 2
"What was that?" he growls getting closer to me. I an feel his breath on my face. Its smells strongly of stale alcohol. He raises his fist. I tremble, When a voice sounds from behind him...
I turned round my heart beating fast. Then I saw him. The man that had been at the party. He was standing behind my attacker.
"RUN!!" he yelled. I didn't hesitate. I legged it around the corner down a small dingy side alley. When I got to the end I stopped my heart thumping. Wow! I thought happily to myself. Amidst it all, my trauma, that disaster and my thumping headache I was still grinning from ear to ear.
I carried on slowly down the dark damp streets. Wind blows my hair about gently. My body is numb to the icy winter night. All I can focus on is his beautiful blue eyes! How they touched my insides. Made me feel so special. So loved. Like he was my life long friend. All in the second our eyes connected.
I got home and went to bed. I slept soundly till the door bell rang. I rub my eyes and put a dressing gown on. I quickly run a brush through my hair and run down the stairs. I open the door.
"Hello?" I croak. I clear my throat and look up. My eyes burn from the sun. I see a figure standing there looking down at me.
"Um is this yours?" he says. He holds my small Samsung E530 up. I snatch it unkindly.
"Yes how did you get it?" I snap. I still can't see who it is when he steps into my gloomy house and shuts my front door. I look up and feel my cheeks glow. It's the man from last night. Shit!
"I-I'm sorry..." I mumble quietly. "Would you like some tea?"
"If you make it coffee I'd love some!" he grins at me. Tre; that was his name I think.
I wonder into the kitchen him following close behind. I put the kettle on, fetch the milk and coffee and put some toast on for breakfast. "So what are you up to today?" he asks kindly.
"Err.. nothing really you?"
"Going to pick my son up, then whatever he wants. Hey you live right next to the park don't you?"
"Yes," I nod " Hey, anyway how did you know where I live?" I frown.
"Good question," he grins cheekily "I'm a good friend of your brothers."
