Zoe, Her Father, and The Guys, chapter 5

"Okay, Zoe, truth or dare?" Andy questioned.
"Truth," I broke the string.
"Do you want to go out with me?" he asked.
I was shocked at his question.
"Andy. Can I think about it?" I replied with a question.
"Sure," he replied, not a bit disappointed.

"Okay, Joey. Truth or Dare?" I questioned to the young rocker.
"Dare," he replied with a small, shy smile.
"I dare you to prank call Mike," I dared with a small, innocent, and sweet smile.
"Okay," he replied, then got up.

"Hello?" Joey asked.
"Hey dude. When are we going surfing?" Joey joked as he pulled the surfer dude talk. "How did you know it was me?" Joey asked in a whine. "Please don't tell my dad?" Joey whined again. "Thanks 'Uncle' Mike," he sighed, relieved. "Yes, I still call you that," he replied to him. "Okay, bye Mike," he said before he hung up.

"Busted," Zac shouted out.
"Ha ha," Joey said.
"Zac, truth or dare?" he questioned.
"Truth."
"Would you ever go out with a prep if you got paid?" Joey asked with a minor laugh.
"Depends how much I was being paid and if would be up front," Zac resolved.
"Okay, this is the final person and question. Aaron, truth or dare?" he informed then asked.
"Dare."
"Kiss Zoe tenderly," he dared.
Aaron just crawled over to me. As our lips connected, Tre walked in the door.
"Zoe?" he asked in amazement as what I was doing.
I broke Aaron and my kiss and stood up to face him.
"Yes Tre?" I questioned, expecting disappointment.
"Truth or Dare?" he asked.
"Yes Tre," I responded.
"As long as you don't drink my beer or alcohol," he said before he left the room.
I sat back down and returned to Aaron.
Our lips connected once again. I loved it. I couldn't tell if it was better or worse than Andy.
Then, Aaron climbed on top of me.
I broke.
"Not yet," I quietly informed.
He winked, then climbed off.

"Bye guys. See you later," I bellowed as the guys walked down the driveway.
They waved, and I shut the door behind me.
"Zoe, you want to get changed so you make a good impression on Bill and Mike?" Tre asked from the living room.
"Good idea," I answered, then running up the stairs to my room.

I entered my closet and picked a pair of pants that were black with multiple pockets and had chains on each side. Then my shirt was a tight black shirt that said, 'AFI' across the front. I touched up my black eyeliner and my dark brown eyeshadow. I then pulled out my clear lip gloss and applied some to my pink lips. I finally looked in my full-length mirror on the bathroom door and saw how good I looked.
I was really skinny, but enough to make it look like I did eat. I did, it's just when I was in the orphanage, I never ate. The guy would never feed me.

I stepped into the living room to see Tre sitting in a lazyboy and two other men on the couch. I knew who they were.
Since there was only a spot on the couch, I sat with the other men of Green Day.
"Zoe, you should know who these guys are," Tre said, pointing to them.
"Yeah. What were you guys talking about?" I asked.
"You," Mike answered.
"Very funny," I replied with a smile and a look at him in the eyes. I loved his blues eyes.
"He was serious," Billie said with a smile and a look into my eyes. I loved his green eyes.
"Okay. What about me?" I asked Billie. Staring him in the eye.
"Your attitude. Your mom. Your figure. Your eyes," Mike returned before Billie could answer.
"What about my figure?" I asked, starting a conversation about everything he just named.
"You're too skinny. Don't you ever eat?" Billie replied, eyes scanning my body.
"I know I'm skinny. And yes, I used to eat, but when I was in the orphanage, the man only fed me every three days. When I was desperate, I drank so much water I was throwing up water because I soon found out the water was, well, water," I returned.
I looked at all of them. Tre was last. He was wide-eyed.
"So, let me get this straight. He didn't feed you a lot. He would feed you then wait two days to feed you again? So why aren't you asking for something to eat now?" Mike asked, obviously confused.
"Because I'm not hungry," I answered wittingly.
'Nice one," Billie returned, putting an arm around my shoulders.
"Thank you," I replied.
