Blood Thirsty and Tired of the Living, chapter 1

He was just sitting there, watching my tears fall 2 the ground. I finally worked up the nerve to look up at him, he was starring deep into my eyes. I could see the fear in his pale face. "What have you done?" he demanded. "Answer me girl! I asked you a question and I want an answer, NOW!"
"I'm sorry," I lied, "I couldn't control myself."
"You little bitch! How could you? Do you have any idea as to what people will say?" I knew exactly what they would say, they'd say that I was crazy or insane and that I'd need to be locked up. Just to flatter him I slowly shook my head. "They will come after me for this! They'll have u hanged, you've disobeyed the law! There will be fierce consequences for this!"
"I told you, I couldn't control myself... it took over." I replied 2 his outrage.
"Well, sorry isn't good enough! The town will not stand for this! They'll demand that you be killed, you know that's what's going to happen don't you?" I did know that was what my fate was to be and yet, I was not afraid. I knew that I could come back, I couldn't truly be killed... but the towns people didn't know that, at least not yet they didn't.
I was born as a mortal, but one day my entire life changed. It was only a few years ago, on all hallows eve, when the bite from a winged king changed me, it changed me into something... something undead. Yes, I am a vampire and I walk through the night... searching, searching for souls who have been waiting for their time. I do not take the innocent, I only take those who deserve the horrid fate of death.
On this night, however, my "other side" took control and I killed a young boy. I was so mad, mainly at myself. How could I have done this? He was just a child, he was so young and his time was not meant to be so soon! I just couldn't stop it, my thirst for the blood of a mortal had grown too strong, and I had simply killed the easiest pray. I looked over at my step father, he was leaving.
"Where are you going, Franco?" I asked as he reached for his coat.
"To find help, here may still be hope for the poor lad. Now you stay here, Luciella, I mean it," he replied. I gave him a scarce glare, he'd called me by my mortal name, Luciella. I hated that name.
"My name is Lucy."
"Whatever, just stay here alright?"
"Fine, what do I do if someone comes to the door? 'Oh, hello there, no that's not a dead boy on the floor....'"
"Don't be a smartass."
"Well, what do you want me to say?"
"Don't say anything, just run into your room and hide."
"You can't be serious!"
"It's either that or you can face your death."
"Fine, go already! I'll stay here, just go!"
He left me with one last glare, then he disappeared through the door. I heard the click as the lock turned. I was alone, but I had been alone almost half my life. I was sick of always having to hide who I really am. I was ready to leave everything behind... so I packed up my few treasured items and I left. I was ready to begin my life, again.
