I flew round the world and got all this!, chapter 1
Shannon picked up her skateboard, sunglasses and I-river; she desperately needed to get out of the house. Shannon was a 15 year old girl who lived in Australia. She had always wanted a new life somewhere away from her family. They never seemed to understand her, the only people that did where her best friends and band mates: Molly, aka Mozza, and Laura.
"Mom! Dad! I'm going over to Molly's house for a while... I'll back soon!" Shannon yelled from the front door.
"Okay Shannon! that's cool," Yelled her father from the kitchen. Molly didn't own a place of her own; she lived with her older cousin Brendon who had just turned 18. Laura and Shannon lived there sometimes, whenever things got a mess at home or whenever they felt like it. Shannon was halfway to Molly's house when Shannon heard a voice behind her.
"Hey Goth-girl!" said her little 12 year old sister, Courtney. Shannon hated being called things like "Rock star," or "Goth-girl," It really annoyed the shit out of her.
"What do you want Courtney? Money? A phone? A new I-pod?" asked Shannon listing off the things she may want.
"No. Mom and dad want you back home," She said to her sister, who looked at her with her 'you've-got-to-be-kidding-me' look on her face.
While Shannon's dad blabbed on about how she was a young lady and some other shit Shannon decided she wanted to get out of here once and for all. She would ask for her money later
"Dad? Can I have my money from the safe?" asked Shannon sweatily.
"Umm...well I suppose you can," Said her dad as he went to get her money
"Thanks dad," said Shannon as she walked out the door to Molly's house.
Knock, Knock
"Mozza open the door now!" yelled Shannon at the front door. Shannon heard the door being locked.
"Shannon what the hell?" said Molly from the front door confused as hell.
"Mozz get Brendon and take me to the airport. I'll explain on the way!" said Shannon running to her room and packing her stuff.
"Mom! Dad! I'm going over to Molly's house for a while... I'll back soon!" Shannon yelled from the front door.
