Zoe, Her Father, and The Guys, chapter 8
"Kyle, leave her alone " Pete yelled as he came out of the lunch room.
Kyle backed away from me and turned to Pete.
"What you going to do? Randy and Ryan have her secure. She is a bitch and that is how I am treating her." Kyle growled.
Then Andy, Zac, Joey, and Aaron came around the corner and came to Pete's side.
"You're out numbered. Now let Zoe go. She didn't do anything to you." Joey raged.
"Do it now Kyle. Tell your guys to let her go." Zac continued, raging as well.
"Okay, guys, bring her to me." Kyle said.
I was yanked forward and handed to Kyle. He then grabbed my arms. He hurt much worse than the other two.
"They let her go. Now what? I can hurt her very easily. Do one single thing wrong." Kyle threatened. I was really scared and my arms were hurting very badly. Aaron could tell.
"Pete, Joey, Zac, Andy, go around to the gym and we will meet you there." Aaron said. Then I saw him wink. The guys left and so had Kyle's friends.
"Kyle, please let her be? Beat me up if you have to. Just leave her alone." Aaron tried to negotiate.
"Why should I? She could be popular. She could be mine. She shouldn't be with you fuckers." Kyle predicted.
"I am popular. My dad is Tre Cool from Green Day." I butted in.
I looked up at Kyle. He was looking at me, dumfounded.
Then, a second later, I felt an impact and I got loose from Kyle's grip.
I turned to see what happened.
Zac, Joey, Andy, and Pete had pushed him so hard that he fell and hit his head. They jump over him and we all ran to the lunch room.
We sat down and the guys had finished their lunch. They threw their trays away and sat back down.
"Zoe, aren't you going to eat?" Andy asked, looking at me in the eyes, concerned.
"Nope, I eat when I'm hungry. I'm usually not hungry around breakfast or lunch but I eat something very small around 6:00pm, but that's it." I explained.
"Girl, you need some meat on you." Zac said, leaning over the table to lightly pinch my arm.
"Shut up. Let's get to class." I said, standing up.
They all stood up and followed.
We reached class.
We got our homework, and I finished mine in class. I understood it perfectly.
We were dismissed and we kept going to our classes.
Aaron and I were at our lockers when a girl came over to me and said," Hi, you want to be popular, hang with me. I can take all that black off and put some pretty pinks and purples on your face. You can get guys in a second," in a very preppy, girly voice.
"Girl, if I wanted to be girly and a bitch, I would come to you but I want to be who I am, not who people like you want me to be. So back off and go fuck your girlfriend. Anyways, I have a guy. I have five. They are all my friends and they all protect me. So back off once again." I returned, putting a hand on Aaron's shoulder and then pointing to Pete and Andy.
"Fine, I could have got you someone better." She said, before sticking her nose in the air and walking off.
Aaron just laughed.
So did I.
I grabbed my book bag and shoved my books I needed into it and walked over to Pete and Andy.
"Hey, ready when you guys are. Just have to grab Aaron, Joey, and Zac." I said, leaning on Andy's locker since it was closed.
"Joey has detention but Zac will meet us at the bike rack. Get Aaron and we can leave." Pete explained very shortly.
"Okay, stay right here." I said, turning on my heel, to see Aaron coming toward me. I stopped and waited on him.
"Hey girl. I got a question. Is what you said about us true? We are your best friends?" Aaron asked, happiness in his eyes.
"Duh stupid. You guys would do anything for me. I can tell. Come on, Joe has detention and Zac is waiting on us by the bike rack. And I can't get home without you. I don't know the way quite yet. So come on." I said, grabbing his hand and walking toward Andy and Pete.
"Ready?" Andy asked, not seeing the obvious.
"Yeah. Let's go to my house to do homework." I said, opening the door closest to the way to the bike rack.
Aaron closely followed, his hand still in mine. Pete and Andy were right next to me.
"Hey Zac. Let's head to my house." I said, taking my hand away from Aaron's so he could get his bike to were I could hop on. Pete and Andy were in front of us and Zac was beside us. I hopped onto the pegs of Aaron's bike and we were off.
I walked in the front door of the house, followed by the guys.
"Tre " I hollered out.
"Anyone home " I yelled out again
I walked into the living room, no one.
I walked into the kitchen, no one.
I looked everywhere, no one.
Tre's SUV was in the driveway, where was he?
"Aaron, I'm scared. I don't have a very good feeling." I said, hugging and huddling into him on the porch. Pete, Andy, and Zac sat next to us as I hugged Aaron.
"Zoe, it's okay. Tre is fine. Billie or Mike might have picked him up. Nothing is going to or has happened." He comforted.
Just then, a black BMW pulled up. Billie came around the front.
"Hey Zoe, is Tre home? And what's wrong?" He asked, stooping down to look at me.
"I guess Tre isn't home. And I have a bad feeling about something. I don't know what." I replied, fear in my voice.
Then Aaron let go and moved over and Billie sat down and pulled me into him.
"Zoe, you want me to stay here until Tre get's home?" He asked softly.
I slightly nodded.
"Okay, you want to go inside?" He asked again, quietly.
I nodded.
He lifted me up and we all went inside.
Kyle backed away from me and turned to Pete.
