So much for my happy ending., chapter 1

"Stop it. STOP!" A young African American woman shrieked, trying to resist her husband's furious swipes at her. She took off down the street, running as fast as her heels would let her. She stumbled, bumping into a tall man with black hair. He was wearing a worn leather jacket and was exiting a liquor store. "Please help me sir...I'm trying to get away from my husband. He's gone crazy..." The man set the case of beer on the side walk. Stepping into the door, he ordered the manager to alert the police. Wrapping his jacket around her, he urged her into the store. As he turned around to grab the case of beer, a dark figure came out from the shadows. As it stepped closer, the man saw a gun. It's metal barrel glinted in the sunlight. It was a menacing looking gun. Small, yet obviously very powerful. Suddenly, the sound of gunfire was heard, as 3 bullets were shot at his chest. He fell to the ground, young children's faces flashing before him, as the cruel hand of Death encased his figure.

A young girl wrapped in a thick, quilt, sat reading yellow news paper clippings. Clothes were strewn over the floor along with assorted bracelets and jewelry. She was concentrating on the clipping. The head line read "Local hero gunned down after saving a woman's life" A tear ran down her nose. She replaced the clippings in the pewter box with ease and pushed back the quilt. She walked to the window and let the cool air cool her body. She pressed her forehead against the glass and sighed deeply. She ran her hand down the glass and picked up a very worn leather jacket. She brought it up to her nose and inhaled deeply. "So much for my happy ending," she whispered to herself. She fell back onto her bed and sank into sleep.

A young dark man stomped up the rickety stairs and opened a warped door. "Get up Addie." He stroked his fingers over her face. She stirred and got up. "Get ready, you slept too late," He said, dropping the sweet manner he had stroking her face and immediately acted mean and tough.
"Pull up a chair and kiss my white ass Josh," she groaned sleepily. She moved a sweat shirt off the radio and turned up Avril Lavinge. The popish sound clashed with the punk rock posters on the walls. She moved her weight from foot to foot like a boxer. Then whilst brushing her long black hair, she hopped up and down in tune to the music. Using her hair brush for a microphone, she started lip synching. As the young man Josh walked in, he saw his little sister jumping up and down.

"I am not your baby sister. In order for me to be your baby sister, I would have to have been a baby when you were a teenager you dumb fuck," Addie said to josh while trying relentlessly to find the Pinole Valley high school. As they caught sight of the small school, they both grimaced, their features becoming very similar.

They both grew up in the city, and were not used to such a small school. "Hey girl!" She heard a boy yell. She turned around and saw two guys, one with brown hair, terribly shorter than the other boy. The other boy had a head full of blonde hair and he was very skinny. "What's your name?" He shouted a black away.
"Why don't you get your ass over here and ask me properly, then If I feel like It I'll tell you my name," she shouted back.

He glared at her disbelieving. The fact that someone, especially an out of towner would EVER dare to talk to Billie Joe Armstrong like that. She glared right back at him, a little smirk on her face at the shock on his face. "This guy must be the big bad punk dude," She whispered to her brother.
