A Clash With Fame!, chapter 1
Not only was it the first rock concert she had been to, but it was a Green Day concert, and she was obsessed with Green Day. She thought Tre was hot and she thought Billie Joe was hot, but that wasnt the only reason she liked them. No way, she wasnt just one of those crazy freaks who liked them and was obsessed with them because they were hot, she enjoyed the music they produced and thought they were cool all around people, and she understood some of the struggles they had gone through in their past. She was supposed to attend this concert with her best friend, but the two of them had a small argument earlier that day so she found some other people to go with. when she got there she heard four of My Chemical Romance's songs, since they were the opening band, and she was on the floor. But she didnt like the floor, she was short and couldnt see. so she found some other people and left her small group on the floor. She went up into the first balcony, just left of the stage with her ex boyfriend and some of his friends. Later one of her friends joined them. she could see perfectly, and she was having the most fun of her life, untill this security bitch ruined her life. almost every day since that night she continues to think what could have happened if that security bitch hadnt been there or if she'd gotten to go down, but she cant change the past... but she occasionally has flashbacks....
*flashback*
The music was loud, she was screaming, with her friends she was jumping and singing to the songs she knew! then Billie Joe walked to the center of the stage and started to play Good Ridance. she was in love with Tre since she also was a drummer and thought he was the best of the band! She watched Tre walk off stage and then after the song was started saw him come back onstage... he was laying down behind a wall where fire was coming out of...he was drinking something... she didnt care... her and her friend started screaming at the top of their lungs, since it was kinda quiet, and Tre looked up at them, they were waving and yelling and he started looking and waving back. She noticed that he was holding a handfull of drumsticks and started making drumming movements and when he finally understood what she was yelling and wanting, he held them up. "yes" she yelled "i want drumsticks, i'm a drummer!" he tapped one of the stage hand guys standing by him and pointed at the two girls, he then motioned for them to come down. She grabbed her friend and they walked down about four steps, and this total bitch of a security guard grabbed her friend by the leg and started pushing them back up. "you cant come down here" the bitch yelled at them. "but he's gonna give us drumsticks!" she said with her friend pointing. but the guard didnt care, she told them it didnt matter and that they had to go back up. Tre walked toward the edge. with hopes that he would still throw some to her she kept waving at him and motioning for him to throw some to her. but he didnt, he ran out to center stage and threw them all in the air. then the band ran off stage. it was too late.
*back to reality*
she went home with no voice, from yelling so much, and a crushed dream. She almost got Tre's drumsticks, and she knew that. even if her friends wouldnt believe her, she still knew the truth of what happened... as depressed as she was, she only became more obsessed with the band after that little clash with fame, and began reading up on some of their bio's and info on the band. she purchased tickets to the next concert close to her home and began a long wait for more than 4 months to see them again. but she felt that it was worth it. recieving no t-shirt or anything from her first concert, she felt it was only right to go again, except this time shewould get a t-shirt when she went in, and hopefully if she had the chance, get it signed. if she got in the right place, maybe she could even get to go onstage and play drums when they asked for volunteers!
with her hopes held high, she waited and waited for the concert to arrive.
