"Why you bring me here?"
"Well I... erm... brought you here... erm..."
*No ones P.O.V*
"Mike?" Ami said.
"Yeah?"
"You were gonna tell me why you brought me here?"
"Oh right, yeah, I...erm...brought you here because I... erm... thought this house would remind you of how I felt about you when we were younger."
"Yeah I already remembered that and you probably knew why so now tell me the real reason why you brought me here."
"Ok," Mike said looking directly into her eyes, "I brought you here because, well you know the night you moved away? Well that was the night I was...erm...going to ask you if you would consider... erm... going out with me."
Ami was in complete shock, she had never thought of Mike that way and they had only been back in each others lives a couple of hours and he already had feelings for him.
*Ami's P.O.V*
Oh my god, I can't believe Mike's feelings have come back already! I don't have the heart to tell him I've never felt for him like that or I don't plan too.
"Oh erm... Mike I think it's too soon, we've been back in each others live about 4 hours and I..."
"It's ok, I just wanted you to know that I still love you."
Phew, I'm glad he understood.
*Nobodies P.O.V*
Mike and Ami hugged for what seemed like years.
"Come on let's go, it's only noon we still got the rest of the day to have fun fun fun!" Mike said.
They got back in his car and drove in silence to a nearby coffee shop.
"Wow this is cosy," Ami said.
"Yeah I know, it's my favourite place too be because it's so small and private... AND they do the best coffee in town!" Mike said with a cheeky look on his face.
Ami felt like she was glowing inside and it was right for her to be with Mike, she thought she liked him more than a friend for just a second and then she remembered what Lucy had told her so many years ago.
*Flash back*
"Lucy, I need to talk to you about something."
"You know you can always talk to me."
"Well you know how I told you about my best friend Mike?"
"Yeah, he sounds sooooo nice."
"Well I think I like him, you know, more then a friend..."
"WOAH! YOU CAN'T!!"
"Well why? You fell for Billie, why is this different?"
"Because it will come back and bite you in the ass, I'm sorry but if you go any further then you're not going to have my support."
*End of flashback*
Mike and Ami hung out for the rest of the day. Mike kept thinking about how lucky he was to have Ami back in her life and how he loves her so much.
"Well today was really nice, we should do it again extremely soon," Ami said as they pulled up outside her house.
"Yeah I know." Mike got out and ran round to Ami's side.
"Oh why thank you."
Mike walked Ami to her door.
"It feels like the end of a date," Ami said.
"Haha, yeah it does."
Mike leaned in for a kiss and they both just stood there kissing for what seemed like forever. Ami pulled away first because she was upset that the kiss didn't make her feel anything but friendship for Mike.
"Well," Ami said, "I'll give you a call later on and organise something for another time."
Mike was disappointed, he wanted Ami to invite her in but he didn't want to force her to do anything.
"Yeah ok, night."
"Night" Ami turned around and went into her house.
"Shit," she said out loud. "Lucy, I'm home."
Lucy came to the top of the stairs in just a t-shirt that Ami didn't recognise.
"Oh Ami, I didn't think you'd be home until later."
"Yeah, well I'm home now, am I interrupting something?"
"Erm... yeah kind of, can't you just go?"
"Ooohh, have you hooked up with Billie?"
"Erm...yeah, that's who it is..."
Ami then heard a voice she recognised. The bathroom door opened and someone came out.
"OH MY GOD!" Ami said "How could you Lucy? YOU KNEW I ALWAYS LIKED HIM!"
Ami stormed out of the house, she couldn't believe that her best friend of 10 years had slept with the one person she knew she liked. She kept thinking about them two together, about them doing what she wanted to do with him. She knew there was only one place she could go, Mike's.
*At Mikes*
"Ami, what are you doing here?"
"Can I come in?"
"Yeah sure, are you ok? You look like you've been crying."
"No I'm not ok," she said taking her jacket and shoes off.
"Well tell me about it over a nice cup of coffee."
"Thanks."
After Ami telling Mike about what happened at home Mike was annoyed.
"How could he? He knew you fucking liked him, I'm going to go round there now and fucking kill him for hurting you."
"Mike don't, it won't solve anything and it will just make it harder for me and Lucy to sort it out."
"Yeah, but Tre fucking hurt you AGAIN! I'm sorry but that makes me angry knowing someone has hurt you."
"I know, but please don't do anything."
*Later that night*
"Well, I'm off to bed now, I'll show you where the guest bedroom is."
"Ok."
Mike showed Ami to her room.
"Night Ami."
"Night Mikey."
Mike closed the door and went to his room. Ami felt lonely, she needed someone to be there with her. When she felt like this she would usually go into Lucy's room and sleep in there but she couldn't so she went to her door and was about to open it when Mike came in.
"Holy crap," Mike said, "What were you doing behind the door?"
"Oh I was making sure it was shut."
"Oh ok, erm... I was wondering...no it's stupid it doesn't matter."
"No, come on tell me."
"Ok I was wondering if you wanted to...erm...sleep in my room, you know? Like we used to."
"Yeah I would love to!"
They both went into Mike's room.
"I'll sleep on the floor if you want?" Mike said.
"Hey I thought this was going to be like old times, you know when we used to share a bed?"
"Are you sure?"
"No I just felt like asking you for no reason, OF COURSE I'M SURE."
Ami and Mike go into bed, they talked for ages like they use to.
Ami woke up and rolled over, she saw that Mike was facing her with his arms wrapped round her. She had a sudden urge to kiss him but she resisted and just watched him sleep.
The next thing she knew she was being woke up by her cell ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hey Ami, it's Lucy."
"Oh hey, you had enough sex?"
"Ami we need to sort this out, I'm sorry but me and Tre was just a stupid one night thing."
"Ok, I forgive you."
"Really? Thank you!"
"Ok, I'm going to go now."
"WAIT! I have something to tell you."
"What?"
"Billie and Adie split up."
"OH MY GOD?"
"I know, he phoned me and said he did it for me so I'm going over to see him today."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah perfectly. So I was wondering whether you still liked Tre?"
"Erm, I don't think I do, I think I like someone else."
"Oooh who?"
"Well I think I like..."
"Why you bring me here?"
"Well I... erm... brought you here... erm..."
*No ones P.O.V*
"Mike?" Ami said.
"Yeah?"
"You were gonna tell me why you brought me here?"
