Till Death Do Us Part, chapter 1

I looked at my neighbor, Billie Joe. I don't really call him "Billie Joe" like everybody else, I just call him by his first name. He's my best friend here in Oakland. His friends are Jason, Mike and Tre. Right now, they are taking a huge break from the music business for they are none other than Green Day, the awesome band of the punk rock industry. So now I can hang out with the band. Some people tell me I'm lucky but I'm. Their lives are just like ours and I don't consider any part of their famousness to be special. But they do have a very special gift, and that is to help people with their music.

Billie turned to me and grinned as I nonchalantly smiled at the sight before us. Tré was giggling at Mike who was flipping him the bird while trying to wash his black BMW at the same time. I sighed and Adrienne snickered as Tré did a very sloppy cartwheel into the mud. Jakob ran after him while Joey stood by me, glancing hopefully at my face. I shot a glance at Mike who just drenched his muscle shirt with the hose. I laughed and followed Billie into his home, carefully wiping my black and red chuck Taylers on his skull rug.

Billie slumped as he went up his stairs carefully making sure that I'd get more annoyed by the second.
"God dammit, Billie, move your fat ass!" I growled trying not to laugh.
Billie grinned wider and stopped on the middle stair and then pouted. "What?" Billie made the most pitiful face. "I want to play guitars," Billie said in a miserable voice.

I laughed at his wretched state and I heard the door slam, making me whirl around in time to see Tré stomping up the stairs.
"Uh-oh..." I mumbled. Tré grabbed me by the waist and lifted me above his head. I screeched in alarm as Tré carried me elsewhere and the whole time, Billie giggled in a most childlike fashion.
"And where are you going with her?" Adrienne's voice floated under my feet. She was pretty amused at the whole thing, although Tré avoided answering her question and before I knew it, I was set down on Billie and Adie's bed and Tré ran to the doorway. I sat up and glared at him. He smirked that awful smirk of his, blew me a kiss, and shut the door.

I sighed an annoyed and huffy sigh as I strode over to the door and attempted to open the door. It was being held by Tré and I couldn't open it. I kicked it a few times when I stopped to hear Mike's voice.
"Gee, Tré, lock Kayla up again?" Mike said with a laugh.
"Could you hold the door while I check on my prisoner?" Tré asked in a sweet voice. The door creaked open and Tré entered and sat down on Billie's bed beside me. I gave him a dirty look but he quickly embraced me and I pushed him away. He snickered loudly.
"What do you want?" I grumbled. Tré gave me a creepy look. "Okay, let me rephrase that...why did you lock me in Billie's room?"
"Ahh, but only to keep you from escaping," Tré said in a wise voice.
"From what, you?" I said with a reproachful look. "No need for that, I wouldn't run away from you unless you ran after me."
"Ahh, but while I'm in here, you might wanna start...running..." Tré said in an unusual vocalization. I suddenly looked at him. He was acting most perverted today. I rolled my eyes as Tré began to run his stout fingers along my inner thigh and up my stomach.
"Tré, you're one strange dude." I said. Tré's face was on mine and he was caressing the side of my face with his tongue he grabbed my chin and urged me to face him.

My fist shot out and collided with his nose.
"OMMM!" Tré's muffled yell came from behind his hands.
"Don't say I didn't warn you," I snarled.
"But you didn't!" Tré said but I barely understood it.
"Yesterday and the day before that..." I sighed. Billie burst into the room at a quick pace an he skidded unbalanced and tripped over Tré's leg onto the bed, face in my chest.
"Ouch," I said as Billie lifted his head.
"Sorry, Kayla. Just wanted to check on you," Billie said. "Who knows what he would do to you, you know?"
"Me," I said. Billie laughed. Then he looked at me seriously. My eyes connected with his and, for a moment there, my face went red for no particular reason.
"Erm..." Billie said uncomfortably. I pushed him off of me and Tré looked from Billie to me and then to Billie again before a smug smile crept across his face.
"Yeah..." I said unsure of what to say next.
"Come on guys, we gotta go to Jason's, he said it was important!" Mike said breaking the ice of this awkward moment. I nodded and darted out the bedroom door.
