Till Death Do Us Part, chapter 5

When I came to, Billie was leaning over me and Tré was sitting on my legs.

"Congrats, Kayla!" Tré said happily, showing me a piece of parchment-like paper.
"You're 15 and you're married!" Mike and Jason giggled earnestly.

"Are you okay?" Billie whispered.

"I think so..." I said rubbing my head where a knot had sprang up.

"Kayla..." Billie sighed. "Did you hear Tré? We're married."

"Yeah, I know," I said bitterly.

"No, I mean we're really married," Billie explained. I stared at him. "The ring on your finger is real, and the vows we made for each other were real. Tré and Jason set us up."

"GODDAMMIT, TRÉ!" I yelled angrily.

"I wish it were me..." Tré cried with a clever smile.

"I swear I didn't do anything," Mike said seriously holding his hands up. I stared at the diamond ring on my left hand. [i]What the fuck?! I was married?! To Billie?! EW!

"But-but-but...I don't know him very well!" I complained.

"Oh, of course not, you've been living across from him for 10 years!" Jason said smiling. I flushed a deep shade of pink.

"But he's already got a wife," I objected. Tré grinned.

"Yeah, and now he's got two!" Tré laughed evilly. Billie raised an eyebrow at me.

"Look, you and I both know that if Adie finds out, my ass is toast," Billie said calmly. "So...I mean...it can't be all that bad."

"Hmm..." I thought aloud. "I guess not. We should make the most of this marriage while it lasts." I laughed anxiously. Billie nodded with a small smile.

"So how's about going on a one day honeymoon?" Jason suggested. Billie covered his eyes, embarrassed.

"Aw, come on, Jase," Billie groaned. "You [i]know what my last honeymoon was like..."

"What?" I asked curiously. Billie just shook his head.

"Let's officially dub that subject as 'taboo'," Billie said firmly. I looked at my knees in disappointment. "But!" Billie added. "We [i]can go on a honeymoon..." I looked at Tré expectantly. He just stared blankly back.

"What?"

"Choose a place for us to go," I said. Tré thought hard.

"Ah! Go to that same hotel from Billie's last honeymoon for one night."

Billie's mouth dropped open. "Aw, hell no!" Billie cried.

"Why not, Billie?" I asked. "Maybe it'll be fun."

"Yeah..." Billie whispered. "A little [i]too fun maybe..."

I just clapped my hands excitedly for the fact we were going somewhere.
