I don't get what I love about him. I just do., chapter 3
I acted like I didn't know the way to Billie's house so he showed me the way. Tre didn't say anything the whole way. To me it was pretty obvious that I liked Billie. I pulled in the drive way just to see Mike standing right next to the garage with his arms crossed over one another
"What took you so long, it's fuckin freezing out here."
Billie pulled the garage door open to reveal a drum set, electric guitar, and a bass. We all piled into the garage to get out of the cold. I sat on the couch that was right in front of them practicing. I felt stupid just sitting there, but there was nothing else I could do. Billie walked over to his light classic blue guitar with stickers all over it. Tre sat behind his drum set and picked up the sticks. Mike grabbed his bass and put the strap around his neck. It was time for practice. Billie adjusted the microphone to where it was perfect with his perfect soft lips. I herd the voices in my head once again. DON'T DROOL SAMANTHA DON'T DROOL. Billie sang into the microphone.
"Looking back upon my life
And the places that I've been
Pictures, faces, girls I've loved
I try to remember when
Faded memories on the wall
some names I have forgotten
But each one is a memory I
Look back on so often."
His voice was so smooth and moving. You can tell by the way he sang into the microphone that he really felt the song.
"I look into the past
I want to make it last
I was there."
After practice, Mike left early because he had to pick his girlfriend up. Tre stayed for about 10 minutes after Mike left.
"Tre, how come your going home early?"
Billie yelled.
"Mom is making macaroni and cheese!"
Billie looked at me and gave me a smirk. I hated when he did that because I didn't know what that meant to him. He got up and pulled down the garage doors, sitting back down next to me.
"I know this is going to sound funny but I wrote a song for you."
Billie got up and grabbed his blue guitar, sitting across from me on the couch. What was I supposed to do? God help me!
