INSOMNIA, chapter 1
She listened closely to Faithless as it flooded her bedroom and out the window. The steady beat made her shiver and spin into darkness. She opened her eyes quickly then bent over and let the sick flow out of her mouth. The people around her spun out of her reach. She heard nothing anymore. She lost all senses as she fell and smacked her head on her wardrobe. The world kept spinning. The music kept whirring in and out of her head. She was falling. She reached out to grab something. Anything. Desperately she sat up and squeezed her head with her dirty hands until she thought blood was going to come out of her eyes, nose and mouth. A tear escaped her right eye. Then another out of her left. She gasped for air then rocked slowly back and forth waiting for the trip to blow over,
Will put his hand on her shoulder steadying himself, then sat down next to her and leant his head against the wall. He said something to her. She could not hear him but only see his pale lips move. She squinted then flickered her eyes up to meet his. She lent her head on his shoulder as he put his arm around her. She slipped ever so slightly until she had her head resting on his lap. He stroked her blonde hair and continued to try and speak to her. She didn't hear anything. She didn't want to hear anything. She wanted to fall asleep. Then stay asleep for eternity.
He started to lay down with her, snaking himself around her until she was snuggled tightly into his grip. They grazed lips a few times then slowly they started to kiss. Every kiss sending shivers up her back. Or was that the draft coming from the window? They stopped kissing as their lips became to heavy to lift. Their eyes shut as they fell asleep together with her in his arms.
Will's POV
My eyes flickered as the morning light hit them. 'What the fuck?' I thought to myself. I let go of Indie who was fast asleep and walked along the wooden floor making sure not to make any creaking noises. I walked down the old wooden stairs only to find empty bottles, cans, dodgy bags, sweet packets and pill packets strewn across the floor.
I didn't recognise where I was at first, then realised I was at Louis'. I dragged myself to the kitchen and opened the fridge only to find ZILCH inside of it. I slammed the fridge door angrily, then saw something that caught my hungry eye. Jade was lying on the floor with half a cookie in her hand. I snatched it from her then poured myself a glass of water and walked into the sitting room. I stepped over Louis on the way making sure to spill some water on his face then sat down on what I thought was a duvet. A muffled shout came from underneath the duvet making me startle and spill my water all over the mucky floor. I grabbed the corner of the duvet and ripped it off of whoever was underneath it. Jess and Dan. Jess and Dan half-naked. I gave them a confused look as they blushed, then slowly covered them with the duvet again. Theo was led on the other sofa snoring. Not for long though. I grabbed his feet and swiftly pulled him off of it. He mumbled sleepily as he, by reflex grabbed one of the sofa cushions.
"Wakey! Wakey!" I exclaimed then sat down on the sofa and wolfed down my cookie. I flicked through the channels only to find what I found in the fridge. I turned it off and thought for a bit before I smirked and made my way to the stereo. I had to step over Theo who had fallen asleep shortly after I had pulled him off the sofa. I turned the volume on maximum before placing Louis' Faithless CD into the stereo. I skipped to Insomnia then rested my finger on the play button. I grinned, put a finger in my ear then pushed the button and quickly put my other finger in my other ear.
