*Kristin's POV*
I flew through the door and into my room. Yes! I thought. I'm finally donw with my tests! I'm no longer a senior! I graduate next week, on the day of my 18th birthday and it marks the day that says that I'm no longer in high school but in the real world to do what I want! I smiled and went over to my computer and turned it on. I signed onto my AIM name and saw that my friends Ally Adams and Amy Clark where already on. And, of course, they instantly IMed me.
*AIM WITH ALLY AND AMY*

As soon as I said that, I heard the door open and my grandmother call my name. "Coming grandma!" I yelled. I went down the stairs and into the livingroom where my grandpa was sitting watching re-runs of Three's Company. "Hi!" I said, hugging both of them.
"Hi dear. I just wanted to ask you what you wanted for dinner," she said, putting a hand on grandpas shoudler.
"How about pizza and wings from Fox's?" I said, hopefully. She nodded thoughtfully.
"Sounds good. Sound good to you Ralph?" she said to my grandpa. He nodded.
"Yay! Oh, I have a question grandma," I said, sounding nice and innocent in hopes that I could go.
"Yes?"
"Well Amy told me she found out about a Green Day concert at the arena on August 13th. She asked me and Ally to go with her. Can I go? Please?" I begged, giving her the puppy dog eyes.
She smiled. "Of course. Do you need me to pay or are you gonna pay?"
"You'd pay?"
"I'll pay half, how about that?" she said. I nodded eagerly in agreement.
"Okay. I'll ask her the price and get back to you. I'm on AIM with her and Ally now. Thank you soooo much!" I said, giving her a big hug around the neck and a kiss on the cheek.
She laughed. "No problem dear."
I smiled, nodded, then ran back up the stairs and to my room.
*BACK ON AIM*

I got off and went down and had pizza with my grandparents. I watched TV and then, finally, it was nine and time for me to go to bed. I went up into my room and changed into my black flame pajamas. I climbed in and was out before the clock flashed 9:02.
*THE NEXT DAY*
I pulled up outside Ally's house to pick up her and Amy. I beeped the horn and they both came running out. Then, being the two who they are, they started fighting like five year olds for the front seat. "Okay! Ally, you can have it on the way there and Amy you can have it on the way back. Now get in." They gave me a look and I smiled.
I drove to the mall and pulled up outside the enterence that we needed to get to Hot Topic. We got in there and said hi to the hot cashier. "Hey girls. Welcome to Hot Topic!" he said brightly.
"Hey Janson. Thanks!" I said, giggling. I walked past him and right to the back where they kept all the band T's. I looked over the wall and found all the Green Day shirts. Luckly, I found the one I wanted. It was a Warning shirt, their new album that just came out this year. It had the lyrics to Minority on the back, which is my favorite song on that CD. I found some pants that zipped off at the ends and some stripped red and black long socks to go under. I got a new pair of red and black anarchy converse. We walked out of the mall and went back to my house.
"You guys wanna practice?" I asked, picking up my drum sticks.
"Sure!" they replied in unision. Ally grabbed her guitar and Amy grabbed her bass. We went into the garage where our amps and stuff where set up. Our bands name is Orbs in Motion. I don't know why we picked it, we just did. We played through all the Green Day songs we knew and even Minority, the one we just learned. When we where done we where all sweaty and out of breath.
"Great practice! I'll see ya tomorrow!" I told them as they walked out the door.
*AUGUST 13, 2000*
We pulled up outside the arena. We heard the intro music playing. "An hour til concert time guys," I said, turning to Ally and Amy as we got out of the car. They nodded and we went in to get close to the stage. We where right in the second row.
We waited there an hour before the lights dimmed and we could see the sillouettes of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool come onto the stage.
