Buggerfacation, chapter 32

When Billie reached the house and went inside he found Charlie and Tre on the couch.
Charlie was looking hurt and Tre looked angry.
"What's the matter?" Billie asked, wondering how anyones life could be worse than his at the moment.
Charlie rolled her eyes and leant back on the couch.
"Frankie and Mike are gone," she said, looking so bitchy it was scary.
"What the fuck? Why?" Demanded Billie. "Are they coming back?"
"I don't know," snapped Charlie.

Tre shot Charlie a look and she returned an equally evil one back in his direction, before getting up and going into the kitchen to make a coffee.
"What happened?" Billie Joe asked Tre.
Tre let out a little sigh and shook his head.
"Charlie..." he began, sitting forward on the couch.
"Explain," Billie said, poking Tre in the arm, as he sat down next to him.
"What she did to Frankie," Tre said, grinding his teeth. "She's so immature. She just had this massive bitchfight with her for no reason."
"She's nineteen Tre, what do you expect from her?" Billie Joe asked.
"You'd think by now she would stop making everything so dramatic," Tre replied.
Billie shook his head.
"I don't want her," Tre said. "She makes everyone's life like a soap opera on crack."

Billie didn't say anything.
"Where's Kat anyway?" Tre asked and Billie let out a groan.
"I don't know. She left. I kind of screwed up her chances at some guy," he said.
Tre stared at him.
"Daniel?" he asked. "Why? She really liked him. He was pretty hot."
"Eugh," Billie sighed, burrying his face in his hands.
"Oh...my God!" squealed Tre. "Jealous much? You like Kat?"
"No," Billie lied.
"Augh! You do!" laughed Tre. "Ooh..."
"She hates me now anyway," Billie said.
"Kat doesn't hate," Tre pointed out. "She's too cute and sweet for that."
"Heh, yeah?" said Billie, sarcastically. "You should have seen her...'Fuck you... Just fuck you...Leave me alone'."
"Huh," said Tre. "That doesn't sound like her"
"Who are we bitching about?" Charlie asked, appearing from the kitchen and handing Billie and Tre each a coffee.
"Kat," said Billie.
"Oh..." Charlie said, flopping down in an armchair and taking a sip of her coffee. "Okay..."
"Billie Joe likes her and...she hates him, because he ruined her chances at getting Daniel."

Charlie looked up and covered her mouth.
"You're screwed then," she said.
Tre shot her a small smile.
"Nice..." he said, sarcastically.
"Well he is." Charlie shrugged. "Daniel was hot. And he was pretty much the first guy that was interested in her since she came here."
"Ahem," Billie said.
"The first non famous, normal, unmarried guy," Charlie said.
"Yeah..." Tre agreed, glancing at Billie.
Billie Joe shrugged.
"Just let her go. It's probably easier to just be friends," Charlie said, with a small yawn.
"Eugh...fine," Billie said, leaning on Tre's shoulder. "If she ever speaks to me again."
"She will," Charlie said.

Suddenly tears sprang to her eyes.
"Oh my God...hang on I want you to have something."
She got up and sat on Tre's lap shoving her hands down the back of the couch and pulling something out.
"What the fuck? No!" Billie Joe said. "I'm not taking...they're yours."
Char shrugged and dropped the black, sequined, broken drumsticks onto his lap.
"They'll bring you luck. They always brought me luck in a fucked up way, and you need it. They always made things better."

Billie Joe secretly thought that Charlie was insane, but he shoved the broken drumsticks into his pocket anyway and hoped to hell that they would bring him luck with Kat, no matter how fucked up that luck was.
