Road Trip, chapter 6

"Great joke, Amy. Everyone is now a fucking comedian aren't they?" I said and turned back to my room.

"Ri! I am so sorry, my car broke down and I'd left my mobile," A beautifully unique voice I recognized said to me from the front door...

I turned around and saw Billie Joe standing there wearing a t-shirt by the Clash with a black Adeline Records tie, black leather pants and a pair of creepers. His intense illuminating Green eyes were underlined with black kohl.

He looked perfect, in fact, I would say he is.

"It's always the way, isn't it?" I said smiling.

"I'm really sorry. You look perfect. Truly perfect," he said and I felt myself blushing.

"No, you're the perfect one. The perfect god," I said and then realised what I said.
Oh shit, did I really say that? I didn't mean to? He's going to think I'm a freak now...oh why the hell does my sponge of a brain have to let me down at times like this.

"Thanks. But I'm just a normal guy. Tré is god," Billie Joe laughed.

"Darn! Satan save us all!" I joked.

"Anyway, Ri, God, Mike, Rebel and Vi are waiting for us, so we'd better go..." Billie Joe said.

"Oh yeah, I'll just grab my jacket," I said and then went quickly into my room and grabbed my leather jacket.

"I'm ready." I said and smiled at Billie Joe when I went back out into the hall. "Bye Hayley, Bye Amy," I said and then walked out with Billie Joe.

*

A huge smile came onto my face. Amy and Hayley could not believe that Billie Joe, the very Billie Joe from Green Day, the man that I idolised, dreamed of every night, influenced me to play guitar and the one very man who owned my heart, had came to take me out.

They may have been right about me messing up big time in the audition, and because of that I probably won't go on tour with them, but I proved them wrong by Billie Joe turning up to pick me up.

Okay, Billie Joe proved them wrong but you know what I mean.

When we had walked down from my apartment, I saw Billie Joe's gleaming Black BMW Z9 parked underneath the street light, there wasn't a spot of dirt on the car, and it looked almost as perfect as its owner.

Billie Joe opened the car door, bowed at me and then said, "Your chariot awaits, Madame." His voice is so beautiful, its amazing when he's singing, and when he's doing interviews on TV or the radio whatever, it sounds gorgeous. But in person is the time this voice stuns the mind, his passionate stunning voice is heavenly. No doubt, and I am not joking, this voice could separate oceans and make the sun shine if Billie Joe wished so.

"Why thank you kind sir," I said and giggled as I got into Billie Joe's sex mobile, "I must get to the ball promptly before 12 o'clock."

"I'm sure we shall succeed, my lady," Billie Joe laughed and then closed the car door and got in to the car himself. He put on his seatbelt as so I, and then he drove off. He put the radio on quietly, and The All American Rejects track 'Dirty Little Secret' came on.

"I love this song!" I exclaimed and Billie Joe turned up the radio and we both started singing.

"Let me know what I've done wrong...when I've known this all along..." we both sung and then started laughing.

"You do know that when ever I'll hear this song I'll remember this, and burst out laughing," Billie Joe said and smiled.

"Why is my singing that bad? Yeah, I'll remember it too." I said and Billie Joe said.

"Nah, you got a wonderful voice, have you ever thought about being a singer?" he asked me. No one has ever said I can sing before.

"Billie, no offence, but clean out your bloody ears. I can't sing. I really can't," I said.

"Yes you can, don't pull yourself down. You've got a lovely voice. End of discussion," Billie Joe said and carried on singing. I joined in too, but I was Billie Joe, it wasn't my fault, he's just so gorgeous it entrances you. Billie Joe pulled up in front of a night club called '2000 light years away.'

I'd heard of it before, they are meant to be really strict on who they let in the club. No one I know has got in underage, and I'm only 17 so I probably won't get in.

"Billie, I wont be able to get in. this club is really strict on identity," I said and started biting my bottom lip in worry as Billie Joe undid his seatbelt.

"Don't worry, I told them that you are 18, just tell them you were born on the 09th of July 1988 instead of 1987. Violet's doing the same and you're on the guest list," Billie Joe said and then got out the car. I undid my seatbelt then followed Billie Joe out of the car.

"You know when my birthday is? Wow." I said and Billie Joe smiled.

"I am a man of mystery," Billie Joe said and then started walking towards the club with his arm around me.
