So Now What???, chapter 7
*New Year's Eve, MTV studios with all the Green Day guys and girl, Ramona, Adie, and Trè's new girlfriend Lauren. Rebyl's POV*
"Now we've saved the best for last! Billie Joe and Rebyl Jayde with Good Riddance!" I heard the announcer.
My dad was piss drunk so this should be funny. We walked up on stage and started to play. Mike was next to us laughing. Well let me back up slightly... we started the USA/Canada tour and we've been to Washington, Oregon, all over California, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado; we were stuck in Colorado for 3 days because of a huge snow storm, and tons of other places on the western side of the country. Mike and I are still dating, I am turning 16 in May, Mike is turning 33 the same day, my dad is turning 33 February 17th and Trè... still has a while. So basically that's all that has happened. I'm glad we're on tour again and that we have the same bus; same sleeping arrangement... except Mike and I share a bed, but Ava misses me, she calls everyday.
"I hopes yousss had the timezz of yer live!" my dad slurred. As we sang played the last few notes, people started to count down.
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!" We heard choruses of "Happy New Year!" with the sight of kisses everywhere. Mike and I kissed along with Trè and Lauren, My dad and mom, and everyone else in the room.
"HAPPY 2005!" the announcer woman yelled. After a while we walked out to the tour bus.
"Bye mom thanks for coming out!"
"No problem, I'll see you." I gave her a hug then walked over to Mona.
"Hey, see you around!"
"Hey, get on MSN in a bit alright?"
"Ok." I stood and waited patiently as Mike and my dad hugged my mom, and Lauren and Trè did all their mushy stuff. After everyone drove away, Jason, Freezer, Ronny, Mike, my dad, Trè and I walked on to the tour bus and started moving. My dad was still piss drunk. Trè was slightly drunk and Mike had maybe one beer, so he wasn't classified as "drunk" in the Green Day world.
After about an hour my dad passed out on the couch and Trè passed out on the floor and everyone else passed out in their rooms. Mike and I were the only ones awake at the moment. We went to bed laughing about all of the unconscious people in the living room. I got out my laptop and got on MSN and as Mona promised, she was on.

"See ya," Mike and I said in unison. I shut my laptop and put it away. I got up to take a shower. I walked in and left the door open, hopefully sending Mike the signal to come on in... I'm ready to take a shower with him, NO, NO SEX! Believe me, when you have been raped at some point in your life, you won't be ready for sex for a long time... I would know.
*Mike's POV*
I watched Rebyl walk into the bathroom and left the door open. In a man's mind that is an invitation to walk in, and seeing as I'm a man, that was the thought that was going through my mind. I stood up off the bed and walked into the bathroom. I looked at Rebyl's shower and the curtain was closed and the shower was on. I took off my pants and everything and stepped in the shower with her. Oh wow, she is so beautiful. I looked into her eyes and saw her smile. I leaned forward and kissed her. She kissed back and I enjoyed every minute of it. I pulled her close and just stayed in that position. We pulled away and I picked up her shampoo. I squirted some into her hair and gently massaged it through her hair and on her scalp.
"Mmmm... " I heard her moan. I smiled and kept massaging her head. I started down her neck and massaged her neck and shoulders. After about 15 minutes of this I stopped and she opened her eyes. I moaned a few times and heard her giggle. Finally, another 15 minutes later she stopped and I washed the soap out of my hair. I grabbed a rag and put some body wash in it and cleaned myself off. Rebyl did the same to herself when heard a toilet flush and the water got cold. She screamed and jumped out. I jumped out after her and wrapped a towel around myself. I turned off the water and heard the devilish cackle that belonged to Billie.
"WAY TO RUIN A MOMENT BILLIE!" All I got was more laughing, which slowly turned to snoring. Rebyl and I walked into our room and she put on a pair of girl's boxers and a large Panic! At the Disco tee shirt. I don't really like that band but oh well. I just put on a pair of black boxers and lay down on the bed. Rebyl sat on the side as she put on a pair of socks, then cuddled up next to me. I am so lucky to have this girl as my girl friend; I really do think I love her. If we're still dating, and I still feel the same way about her; which I'm sure I will, I think I'll ask her to marry me when she's 18... Let's see, it's January 13th now, I have 2 years, 3 months, and 17 days until I can ask... I think that's enough time. I heard light breathing next to me and noticed that Rebyl fell asleep.
*Rebyl's POV*
I heard Mike's light snoring next to me when I woke up around 5:00. I took Mike arm off of me for a moment and sat up. I walked into the bathroom and when I came out Mike wasn't snoring anymore.
"Mike, you awake?" I walked over and his lips we blue! I screamed practically bloody murder. I heard my dad run in.
"What's going on?"
"Look!" I said and pointed at Mike.
"Oh god... CALL AN AMBULANCE!" I picked up my cell phone and dialed 9-1-1 with shaking fingers. My dad ran and told the driver to stop. I felt him pull over. I leaned over and felt Mike's pulse and it was almost non-existent. I couldn't stand to see him like this so I ran out of the bedroom and into the 7-11 parking lot. I felt the cool breeze hit my face as I stepped off the bus and I heard sirens in the distance. The ambulance pulled up next to me and I pointed into the bus. I watched as 3 ambulance men ran inside. I watched them bring Mike out on a stretcher. I witnessed as they carried him into the ambulance. A man walked up to me.
"Ma'am, we are allowed to bring one close friend or family member, and your father requested that you go," one of the men told me. I couldn't find my voice so I just nodded my head. I got in the back of the ambulance and grabbed Mike's hand.
"Ma'am, sometimes unconscious people can hear everything outside, so you can talk to him, he can most likely hear you."
"Hey Mike, come on babe wake up, you can't leave me," I said, "This feels like I'm talking to a brick wall. What happened to you Mikey?"
"If you hadn't found him when you did, he would probably be dead right now," one of the men told me.
I listened to the steady beeping of Mike's heart monitor. Suddenly, the heart monitor started racing. The doctors started running around and all I heard was one flat beep.
