A Letter To Elise, chapter 21

Simon said: "Ok, what I see is that at first the boy and the girl wanted to be together and go wherever together. But with time going by, they got to think in a different way, that is they had a different road they wanted to follow up.
She changed her way and adbandon him because she gave up and thought she was going to nowhere; on the other hand, the boy sticked to his beliefs and he got to this beautiful forest in the end.
In conclusion it makes me thing that if we believe in something so much, we should keep believing in it, not losing faith; and it teaches us that sometimes it can be wrong but in the end we didn't want to drop that and instead we kept on following up ourselves.

"Ok that's a clear point of view that I didn't thought in. But what I can say is this:

The boy and the girl were closed friends, when they were young (FIRST painting) they were together in everything, they didn't follow anything else but their hearts. The Broken forest, that is the fallen trees, the rocks, the rain, symbolize the problems they will have in life or that they had, that everything in life is not happyness, that there are the lows and the highs, and to confront that we need to believe first in us, then nothing will be impossible, and secondly we must look at other's point of view but not changing our minds if the other's are not correct.

(SECOND painting) They are in completely different places, because when they got older they started to think in a different way, because she might have chose to believe in other thing. I mean, they changed a lot that in the end they were complertely strangers to each one. That's why they are not in the same place, she decided to go to other part, and he instead stayed in his path, he didn't mislead in his path of life, he followed up his way through the labyrint.

"Ok now I see what you mean. I see Elise and you in those paintings. You used to be very close friends; I remember yo used to do the same things, to like the same cake and to watch the same sunset till it was nothing but stars and a big full moon above of you, who used to talk a lot all nights. And then after she left and came back, she was different, 'cause maybe where she lived all those days in was a different "weather", different people I mean, and different ways to live. She might have forgotten about all she was believing in, and what was correct, and for not feeling rejected she might have tried to adjust to that place. And you instead keep on believing in what you thought was right, and when the opposites (you and her) collided, you just find out that you were not with the person you were waiting all life. At first it didn't show up, but with time, you realized that you were different.
