A Letter To Elise, chapter 5
On the way home, but this time alone in the car, lightning could be seen, and the sound was horrible and very loud. Soon, it started to rain, and Robert could see some part of the road. He then screamed: "That's just what I need, a rain that proves I am a loser, I can't forgive her or myself, why it had to end up like this? I never needed anymore than this!
Robert arrived home, he got out of the car rapidly and went in the house almost running. At first he didn't believed what he had just done, 'cause even though Elise was very cruel, she was a woman. Robert also knew that Elise was drunk, he sat on the couch and waited for Elise.
Minutes passed, and finally, some hits were heard by Robert. It was Elise who had problems to open the door, but she finally was able to open it. Then, Robert stood up, and looked at the door waiting for someone to show up.
Elise, very wet, soaking and soaking, ran at Robert, almost crying, she hugged him and told him: "-Robert, I'm sorry, I didn't know what happened. It's just that I wanted some revenge after all the fights we had. I was very angry at then, but on the way home, when it started to rain, I knew something was wrong! Forgive me please"
And Elise started to cry and cry, whining. Robert, just hugging her, but very surpirsed and confused. He didn't knew what to do. All he could say was: "-Wait, it's not your fault, I know all this times I have said too much and been to unkind, but the past two weeks, I tried to change for good. And I did. You started to behave very different.
"-Robert, I've already told you I'm sorry. Please, let's forget this, and start again.
"-It's very easy to say: 'Tomorrow I can start again, back to were I left', but it requires a lot of work, and effort.-Robert repplied.
"-Robert, I will do whatever, I just need to forget this dark chapter of my life, we have been friends forever. Please.
"-Elise,-he said as he let her go- talk is cheap, but I can't say no. I forgive you, 'cause I did bad things too. No one is a good person forever.
And Robert hugged her again. He kissed her face and head, they stayed in that position regretting all bad they did. Then, Robert told her he needed to lie in the bed and think, he wanted to be alone.
"-Yes Robert, I also need that, we need to think in all those things.
Both went to different places of the house, not so different, only a door was separating them, each one in the opposite side of the door sitting; and they started to think. Robert, still confused, remembered:

"-Robert, you are here, I can see you remembered to wait, I thought that you would forget about me because of your friends.
"-Elise, you are my best friend, and as far as I can tell, you are the only one friend I have, all those are just known people.
"-Oh Robert, you are always so kind, I love to be your friend, you are always there for me.
Both childs went to the class room. As They entered, Robert said hi to all, he was well known, and Elise was looked as a stranger. Soon, Robert introduced her to all of the class, he told them to watch out, 'cause Elise was his first priority, so any insult to her, would force him to kick their asses.

"-Elise, I always protected you, and know you pay with this, I can't believe it, but still, I also hurt you with words, and words can do more damage than the one that 1000 of pounches will or would ever do. I need to forgive you but you also hurt me. Robert didn't realize Elise was behind the door, sitting and also thinking, she was able to listen to Robert.
