A Letter To Elise, chapter 6
****flashback continues****
After weeks and weeks of having fun, Elise and Robert had a lot of friends, or known people, as Robert used to call them. Everybody was in a friend meeting, they had it thrice a week. They were talking of a lot things, school, homework, what to do on weekends, etc.
Robert was talking and talking with the other boys and girls, then Elise felt a little uncomfortable, and 'cause it was late, she wanted to go. She asked Robert to take her home, and after sometime, Robert said ok, cause the other boys said something about Elise that made him become a little upset. Robert instantly took off with Elise, and he was complaining and apologizing for his known people attitude.
"-It's ok Robert, you showed your loyalty. You are such a gorgeous friend.
"-it's just that I don't want people to insult what I love. You are my best friend, and I wouldn't permit that.
"-I will do the same whenever someone is insulting you. And I will never let you down, I will follow you through anything.
"-Thanks Elise.
****flashback Ends****
"-So Elise, why did you brake your promise, I haven't. I wish you could remember when we were on secondary school. You promised me you wouldn't let me down, that you would go with me through anything. Then, were did all those words went? You forgot about me on the dinner of today, then, Why would I forgive you? Tomorrow, well today, cause it is three a.m....
Elise, in the other side of the door, felt guilty, and she thought she was thinking, but she screamed:
"-Oh Robert, please, I now I broke my promise, but don't try to be the good one, remember you did a lot of things that affected me, why do you think you are the good, and I am the bad? Can't you remember that you sometime prefered to go with those kids, instead of going with me on my birthday? You promised to be with me on every birhtday, 'cause you wanted to celebrate I was growing up...
Soon, Robert knew Elise was there, and he was quiet for some time...

"Raining outside, the windows were coverd with water. A lot of raging lightnings striking the outside with no compassion. Robert resting his head on the door. Elise, on her knees, looking at the floor. But both had something in common, they were sobbing.
After sometime, Robert said:
"-Elise, I never wanted this, Why can't we forget all, and start again, as you said?
"-Robert, it's hard. But I want to.
"-So, Elise, may I say I'm sorry.
"-I'm sorry too. Let's start. Hi Robert, how was your day?
"-Hi, Elise, my day, well, it was good, I was hungry till I got home. And I found you sitting on the couch. But how was yours?
"-Well, my work is not as hard as yours, but It was boring.
Elise and Robert, spent all the time till dawning, talking of past pacts, trying to forget and "Patch" all those. Finally, they ended up happy and went to sleep.
Next days, everything was ok, Robert and Elise were very happy, but both knew that the love they once felt for each other, was know just friendship, Elise didn't like what Robert did, and Robert didn't like Elise attitude, eventhough it had changed, and she had became a new Elise, who show herself to care more for Robert...
To end up, they went to a restaurant again, but with different friends, to celebrate the reborn of their love and friendship...
