Slap In The Face, chapter 21
My jaw must have hit the floor because I stood stunned for about two minutes before Frankie pipped in
"Yep that was our reaction too, we couldn't believe he'd finally divorce her"
"But why?" I asked sceptically
"YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT SHE DID" exclaimed Frankie angrily
Billie Joe slapped a hand over his mouth "My divorce, my story asshole"
I scooted along and gestured for him to sit down beside me
"What happened BJ" I asked kindly
He sighed and began his story
2 years before
Billie Joe stepped out of his car and made his way unenthusiastically to his front door. He couldn't believe he'd just completely destroyed the relationship he had with his best friend in the world, his other two best friends weren't talking to him, his band was almost over and now he was going home to a less than perfect wife who he barely loved anymore.
He put the key in the door and dropped his bags in the hall before making his way to the bedroom to collapse into a much needed sleep.
Unfortunately things didn't work out that way he switched on the bedroom light to find his wife entangled in the arms of the POOL BOY
"How fucking cliché Evelyn" he sighed
"B B B Billie its not what you think" she stuttered
"Really? Cause I Think my wife's fucking the pool boy in my bed"
Evelyn whimpered and pulled the sheet around her body as the pool boy scampered for his clothes.
"Its not like your HOME anyway, I have NEEDS BILLIE" she said trying to defend herself.
"YEAH AND WHEN I AM HOME YOU EMPTY MY WALLET AND PISS OFF SOMEWHERE UNTIL I'M GONE AGAIN" he yelled angrily.
The pool boy slunk out the door but not before Billie Joe spun him around and gave him a shiner he'd remember for the rest of his life
"Man shitttt that's assault, I'm gonna sue your ass"
Billie Joe laughed bitterly "Yeah your going to sue a man who has many fans and friends who would make your life a living HELL if you made him end up in jail, besides YOUR FUCKING MY WIFE GET OUTTA MY HOUSE"
The pool boy bolted for the door and jumped on his pushbike
Billie Joe sat on a chair and shook his head, he knew that he could leave her with nothing, but if she found out he cheated on her then she would take everything he ever worked for.
"Its over Lynnie, keep your car, the house and I'll give you 100 grand and you leave me alone I cant be bothered with a messy divorce to a sham marriage" he sighed
"Really?" she said
"Really, I'm done I'll have the details drawn up tomorrow" he replied
"Um thanks Billie" she said
He shook his head and walked out the door, and headed to Mike's
Within a month all the proceedings were over and he was a free man again, but he felt empty and he missed he more and more each day.
"So you just gave her everything?" asked Lydia
"We'll not exactly, she ended up with nothing actually" he replied
"But why?"
A wave of pain washed over his face
"She didn't miscarry, she aborted my child so her figure wouldn't be destroyed beyond repair" he said angrily
"THAT STUPID WHORE, IF I EVER SEE HER AGAIN I WILL KILL HER" I yelled
"Its ok Dia really, she got what she deserved" he said soothingly
"What was that"
"The Pool boy knocked her up" laughed Mike
It was at that point I started to feel extremely guilty, I had let my anger at BJ separate a father and his daughter for 2 years and I knew I had to do the right thing no matter how much he would hate me for it.
"Guys um there's something, you all need to know...."
