Will the pain in my life finally leave me alone with you?, chapter 1

A/N: For the purposes of this story, Billie Joe and Mike are 20, and Tre is 18. Also, Adie doesn't exist, again, for the purposes of the story.

My body shook nervously. There were only two people with backstage passes to see Green Day. My best friend and me.

"Shit, I'm gonna get sweat all over my new clothes," I muttered, annoyed. I had gotten a special outfit together for the concert. I wanted to seem like a fan, but not a teenie. There was a fine line in between the two. I was wearing my black Bullet in Bible T-shirt, tight black jeans, black high top Converse with black laces, a studded belt, and I had wrapped an Adeline tie around my neck. At the moment, I had forgotten which one. Glancing down, I discovered it was a black one with the famous Adeline star at the bottom.

After what seemed like an hour (but was probably only a few minutes), the security guard escorted us backstage.

The three members sat there, like perfect angels. I supposed Jason, Jason, and Ronnie had gone to some bar or something.

I glanced at Brittany, who stood their, stock still, staring at Tre, who stared right back.

"Hi. I'm Sedona, but people call me Sid. Uh... I loved your concert today. My favorite song is One for the Razorbacks, it was so cool that you played it."

Billie laughed. "Hey Sedona, I like your name, it's unique. It is a good song. And you don't need to be so nervous."

I ran a hand through my black hair, which was streaked with red green, blue, purple, and orange. "Okay." Billie laughed again. Tre was still staring at Brittany, or Blue, as her friends call her.

"You're hot," he finally said, "How old are you?"

Blue laughed. "Barely 18."

"Cool."

"Yeah... " Blue trailed off, looking nervous, pleased, and unsure of what to do. I felt the same way.

"Come here... uh... Blue?" Tre patted the arm of his chair. Blue looked nervous, "Come on, I won't bite." He patted the chair again.

Blue went over and perched on the edge of the arm, still looking nervous.

"How'd you know my name?" she muttered shyly.

"I didn't, I just saw your hair."

"Oh."

Suddenly, Tre pulled her backwards, so her head rested on his lap. Blue looked up into his icy Blue eyes and began to laugh, becoming casual for the first time that night.

"I'm bored," commented Billie. "Whaddya say we skip out on that autograph signing in 15 minutes and head to a bar?"

"All of us are underage though..." I said.

"So?"

"They wouldn't give us any."

"Well, I could get them to give us some, we're famous. But you two look 16, not 18, let alone 21. Let's go home instead; I know the bartender there will give us some beer."

"You have a personal bartender?"

"Yeah, me."

I laughed, and, like Blue, became calmer. It was hard to be nervous around these guys. I followed Billie out the door, Tre carried Blue out, and Mike followed Tre, laughing at him the whole time.

We approached the black BMW. Billie hopped into the driver's seat and Tre set blue in the backseat, before hopping in himself. Mike opened the door to the passenger side.

"I was gonna let Sid sit there."

"But... oh." Mike turned away after Billie said or did something I couldn't see. "Go ahead Sedona. I'll sit in the backseat with Blue and Tre."

"Uh... okay..." I slid into the passenger seat next to Billie.

It wasn't a very long drive until we reached three houses side by side. Billie pulled up in front of the one in the middle. "Tre is on the left and Mike is on the right. I'm, obviously, in the middle." Billie slid out of the seat, slammed the door, came around to my side, opened the door, and pulled me out. Billie left the other three to get out of the car and into their houses for themselves, and headed towards his house with me.
