I think I'm jealous of your girlfriend, Although she's just a girl that is your friend, chapter 1
*Adrienne's P.O.V.*
I woke up and reached over to Billie Joe's side of the bed to find... a piece of paper? 'Oh, great... ' I thought. 'what the hell's he up to now? I wish he would at least wake me up to say bye instead of writing me a note... ' I sat up and read the note. It said:
"Morning Adie!
Sorry to be gone so early, but somebody I knew a while back was in town and wanted to visit. I'll be back soon.
Love, Billie"
So I got up and got Joey and Jakob off to school and waited for him to return...
*Billie Joe's P.O.V.*
'Why am I doing this? Damn, this is boring... what's going to happen? Does history really repeat itself? I sure as hell hope not for my sake... does she actually think we had something? 'cause first of all, that was in second grade... I'm married with kids now! Besides, that wasn't actually love, that was "go out with me or get your ass kicked even more"... damn... ' These are the thoughts that raced through my mind while I was waiting for my "friend".
About 15 minutes went by. Then a tall, slim girl with headphones peaking through her long blonde hair came up and hugged me. I jumped back a bit then looked at her kind of weird; like "what the hell?" then she looked at me and took off her sunglasses.
The minute I saw her face I recognized her as Tanya... the girl I didn't think much of, but had to come here to meet. She looked at me like I was crazy then said "Don't act like you don't know me... Billie Joe... "
I gave a fake smile then said "How could I forget? So, what's up?"
She took her headphones out and said "Oh, not much. Some friend of my dad's wants me to work for his company... but I don't wanna be a boring office lady, so I'm trying to find something of more interest."
She handed me one of her bags and put the other one over her shoulder. "So... um... where do you plan on staying?" I asked.
"Well, I was hoping I could stay at your house... " she said hopefully.
'Oh, great... ' I thought. 'What's Adrienne gonna think? And where's she supposed to stay? I suppose she could sleep on the couch... '
"Billie Joe... HELLO?!" she shook me out of my thoughts.
"Uh... yeah! You can stay, but just to let you know-"
"YAY!!!" she screamed before I could finish.
"Yes... BUT... you'll have to sleep on the couch because we don't have an extra room... you ok with that?" I asked.
She nodded her head "Mm-hm!"
Then we walked out to the car, put her things in the trunk and drove back to my house.
