Runaway, chapter 2
Jade woke up a bit disorienated. At first, she thought her dad fulfilled his promise of dumping her on the beach to live with the sharks in San Fran Bay. Then everything came back. The fight. The walk. The pain in her ass and legs. Then she saw the 3 guys who woke her up. [Guess. :) ]
"Hey are you ok?" the short one with the black hair said.
"No she's not, your an idiot, she has bruises all over and a cut lip," replied the blonde one.
"Will you guys just ask her and hurry up because my crotch itches and I have to pee like the dickens," said the guy with brown hair.
Jade sat up. They looked really familiar, like she saw them on a poster before, a year ago.
"Who are you, and what the hell do you want?"
At that, all 3 looked at her in disbelief.
"You don't know who we are?" said the blonde and black haired ones.
"No, so can you tell me who you are?" she replied.
"Uhhh...Ok, I'm Billie Joe, Mike's the one with blonde hair, and Tre is the one with brown hair."
"Nice to meet you. Anyways, what are you doing? No one ever sits on the beaches of the Golden Gate." Jade said.
"We live in Berkley, we are musi-" Billie Joe was cut off by Mike.
"We're on a trip." He said, matter-of-factly.
"Anyways, what about you? You looked like you traveled a long way." Tre asked.
"I'd rather not talk about it."
"Be that way. So, what's your name?" Tre said.
"Jade"
"Pretty name."
"Thank you." Jade got up and immediatly fell back down again. Her legs were to sore and too tired to stand up.
"Oh well. Ok, then bye." Jade said and fell back on the sand.
Billie Joe, Mike and Tre stared at each other. Then sighing, Mike and Billie Joe picked up Jade and Tre picked up her duffel. Jade fought, saying she could walk herself, but when they set her down, she fell again. They carried her to the tour bus and set her on a couch. She looked around.
"This is nice. Are you guys like, rich or something?" she asked.
"Yeah. Hey, have you heard this band called 'Green Day'?" Mike asked.
He put in Dookie and played Longview. Jade shook her head.
"I like the song though," She said.
There was an akward silence for abou 5 minutes.
"So Jade, will you tell us how you got those bruises?" Mike asked.
"Hey are you ok?" the short one with the black hair said.
