A Dream, chapter 1
August 24 Raleigh, NC Green Day concert
"YEAH WOOHOOO" Lindsey screamed along with the crowds as Green Day played. I screamed too so did Jordan. This was our first Green Day concert and it ruled. We were screaming, having a great time, going wild all the things you couldn't do almost everywhere else on this planet. Everything was going great as the concert continued we were having fun but then off course it had to end. Everyone was leaving. Beer bottles and garbage were all over the place I finished off my beer and through it on the ground laughing as it broke. I felt so out of it. We all did. We were on our way out until Lindsey said "Oh my god it's Green Day they're out on stage let's go. "Crap, Lindsey no" I said but she was already running or at least trying to towards the stage. Billie smiled as he saw the drunken girl run towards the stage. Jordan and I followed and as we neared the stage Billie spoke "Hey you guys like the concert" he asked. "Hell yeah" Lindsey screamed. "It was awesome said. "Glad you liked it so what are your names?" Billie asked as he eyed Jordan weirdly because of what she was doing to Tre. "It's really him guys wow" she poked Tre who looked at her oddly. "My names Lindsey this is Trish and well that's our creepy blonde friend Jordan" Lindsey said as she walked up on stage and shook Billie's hand. She was actually acting kinda proper for a drunken woman. "Jordan leave Tre alone he's not your play toy yet" I yelled at her as she hugged Tre tightly. Tre's eyes widened as he heard that. I went over there and tried to pull Jordan off Tre. "No no I want Tre" She screamed while holding his leg now. I apologized to Tre" I am terribly sorry she had a little to much to drink and also it's kind of her blonde nature to act this way with guys now come on Jordan get off Tre's leg". "No" she yelled "Jordan either you let go or I wont let you watch any more Paris Hilton movies" I said and she let go. Tre ran behind Mike who just now walked out onstage. "Save me" Tre said as he hid behind him. My jaw dropped and I froze as I saw Mike. "Oh my god Mike" I said. I started to drool and Jordan walked up next to me. "She really likes you I suggest you watch out for her she's crazier then me" Jordan said and I slapped her upside the head. Mike laughed. "Hey you guys doing anything tonight maybe you can hang out with us" Billie said as him and Lindsey walked over to us. "Nope nothing planned guess we're hanging out with you guys alright" I said. "Cool we just need to help these guys pack the stuff into the bus and then we can go off and have some fun."
Later that night we all went out to explore the town. Lindsey hung out with Billie Joe, Jordan and Tre started to get along and Mike and I did too. We went to a bar and hung out. Jordan and Tre had a drinking contest. Jordan would have won if she didn't pass out. "Damn she's going to have one big hangover tomarrow" Tre said laughing. Tre started to laugh uncontrollably he was so drunk. He jumped up on the table and started to dance. "Come on let's have some fun" He started to do the macarana. I joined him. Lindsey screamed for us to get down Billie and Mike laughed and then Mike joined. Bille took Lindsey's hand. "Come on let's have some fun" he pulled her up on the table and we all started to dance except Jordan who was still past out. We got kicked out and Tre got mad. He wacked the manager upside the head with a beer bottle "Your mean" he said as he wobbled out of the bar with the rest of us. We all sat in the bus drunk and feeling stupid. Laughing for no reason at all. Jordan as soon as she got onto the bus past out on the floor. Billie and Lindsey sat around talking and just randomly started to make out. Tre watched them and then went over to were Mike and I sat. "So have a great night" Tre said looking really out of it. I laughed as he fell onto the floor and past out. "Oh man this was the greatest night of my life" I said and then looked at Mike who was laughing. I always liked Mike. I smiled at him and then he looked at me and smiled. He had a great smile and beautiful blue eyes. Then everything started to go black. I past out.
7:30 am GD tour bus
I woke up and rubbed my head. "Oh man here's the hangover" I mumbled and looked around. I was now in a bed. All I remember was I fell asleep in a chair and Green day was there." How did I get here" I thought to myself and looked on the side of the bed. Mike was there on the floor asleep. He must have brought me to bed. I smiled such a nice guy I thought. I got out of the bed trying not to step on or wake mike up. I looked around again. Tre was still asleep on the floor and so was Jordan. Lindsey and Billie however were on the bottom bunk of the other beds sleeping together. "Oh god" I thought to myself and shook my head." Good morning" a voice said. I turned around and Mike was there he just woke up. "Hungry?" he asked as he walked over to the fridge. "A little bit are you" I asked "Yeah but it seems there's nothing here and no more coffee want to go shopping" he said as he finished looking through the cabinets." Sure oh but wait is it a good idea to leave these guys here alone" I said looking at them." No but we're hungry" He said smiling come on lets go" He said as we started to walk out of the bus. It was parked in front of the bar still." Someone's going to say something about that" I said "So" Mike replied smiling as we walked down the street to of course to the Starbucks. We got ourselves some coffee and then went off to find ourselves a market. We walked around trying to get rid of our hangovers." So are you from here" Mike asked." No I'm from Jersey I moved here when I was only 12 it was kind of a big thing for me I didn't like it in the beginning but then I met my friends Jordan and Lindsey We've been friends for 15 years now we started a band and everything"." You guys have a band" Mike said "Cool what do you play?" he asked." I play bass, Jordan's on drums, and Lindsey's got the vocals and guitar" I said "Our bands called Black Novel"." That's awesome you guys play alot" Mike asked" "Yeah we practice everyday almost music is kind of our lives" I said and then I stopped. "What is it" he asked. "Its WALMART"I screamed. "YES" We yelled and we started to run towards it.
Back at the tour bus
Tre woke up moaning and rubbing his head. "What the hell happened" he said as he looked around seeing everyone asleep. "Oh now I remember wakey wakey everybody" Tre screamed. "You guys better be glad the tours over you bunch of lazy bastards wake up" Tre jumped on top of Billie and Lindsey. "Rooooaaarrr the tre monster will now crush you grrrrr" Billie and Lindsey jumped up but it was to late Tre landed right on top of them. "Uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh Tre" Billie yelled. "Get off" he said and Lindsey laughed as Tre rolled all over them. Billie through him off and he landed right on Jordan. "Ahhhhhhhh" Jordan screamed but as she saw it was Tre on her. "Tre" she said happily hugging him. Tre smiled "At least someone loves me". Billie looked around "Um guys where did Mike and Trish go?" They all looked around. "I don't know" Tre said.
Walmart
"Yeah wooohooo faster" I screamed as Mike ran down the aisles pushing me in the cart as I randomly grabbed stuff off the shelves. "Oooooo look I grabbed donuts alright." We went down the next aisle. "Condoms, birth control I think Tre will need these" I said smiling as I threw them in the cart. Mike laughed. "OLD LADY" I screamed as a fat old woman started to walk past the end of the aisle. "Shit" Mike said as he went faster hoping to make it before the woman was in the middle. "Ahhhhhhhhh" I screamed as we got closer. I closed my eyes and then opened them. "We made it" I yelled and the old lady cursed at us as we went on. Finally the shopping came to an end and we went over to the self checkouts. Mike kept running the box of donuts over the scanner. Making it beep and beep and beep until the woman told him it was scanned already. As we left we laughed and once we walked out the doors the bus was right out front. Billie opened the door. "Hey guys how did you find us" I asked "Well we saw we were out of coffee and went to Starbucks you guys weren't there so there were no other stores around except Walmart and well we knew that you'd probably be here since we saw and old woman walk out complaining about a bunch of young wippersnappers" replied Billie. We walked onto the bus. Tre immediately started to search through the bags. He found the condoms and smiled he looked at us "I thank you guys for thinking of me" he said all happily. "Hey there not just for you Tre" Mike said smiling. Everyone started to dig into the bags. Mike and I went and made our coffee while Billie and Lindsey munched on some of the donuts. Tre and Jordan disappeared but of course we know what they went off to do. Mike and I went and sat down with Billie and Lindsey and got ourselves some donuts to. "So what do you guys want to do today the tour is over and we're free" Billie said. We all just sat there thinking until Lindsey smiled "I think I have an idea guys" she said.
