When Dreams Come True, chapter 1

1990 july 17th

Frankie woke up to another day at 7:29. Today was her 15th birhday, she didn't know that her mum had organised a speical little party for her. She got dressed and stumbled downstairs. Everyone was waiting for her in the kitchen.
"Happy birthday hunny!" Her mum said, handing a yellow envelope over with her name on it. Frankie oped it, inside a pink flowery card fell out. She opened the card to find two Green Day tickets.
"Thankyou! Sooo much!" Frankie cried diving into her mums arms.
"Don't thank me, it was Dad who got them for you" Mum replied with a smile.
"Ok im going to be late for school if i don't go now! Say thanks to dad for me!,"
Frankie said,
"bye!"

*8:10am late for school again*


"Miss smith you are late again, just because its your birthday doesn't mean you wont get a detention!"
"Sorry sir"

Frankie took her seat next to her best friend Allison.
"Hi Alli, you'll never guess what!?"
"what?"
"i've got tickets to see green day!"
Then they talked about it for the whole lesson, and the whole day too.
