Another Journey Down Bumfuck Road., chapter 2
***Friday morning 7:30 a.m***
"Melanie." Billie Joe wispered quietly trying to wake me up. "Melanie." still no answer. "Melanie get the fuck up!" he said with his face just inches from mine.
"What..." I mumbled. "Oh good morning.... AHHH WHAT THE FUCK!" I screamed getting the shit scared out of me seeing how close he was. "Haha knew it would get you up." he said. "How the fuck is nearly giving me a heartattack helping?!" I said jokefully as I playfully punched his arm. "Wow for a 14 year old you got quite a potty mouth." he said giggleing. "Yeah well I guse I picked it up from you." I said as I got up to search threw my closet.
Billie Joe left my room so I could get dressed. As I walked out of my room he stared at me. "What? Stop staring at me!" I said. "Oh sory I just lover your sence of style." he said after looking away. I was wearing a pair of baggy blue jeens about 3 sizes to big, with a pink t-shirt saying my face isn't down here you know, a white zip up hoody that said g-unit on it and my black contacts. I had black eye liner on and some foundation and my hair was pulled back into a poneytail. "Oh well do you now?"
As I walked into the kitchen I said "Do you want anything to eat?" "I dont know what are you having?" he called back. "I'm having toast with peanutbutter and jelly on it." I said. "You want one to?" "Sure. You like peanutbutter and jelly dont you?" he asked. "No shit. I havn't noticed." I said playfully being sarcastic.
As we sat down and ate our toast he asked "So you still coming to the mall with us tonigh?" "Ya sure wouldn't miss it for the world. Aww fuck I'm going to be late for school." I said seeing as it was alread 8:45.
Just then Tre and Mike waled in threw the door and they must have heard me because befor I knew it Mike said "Well hurry your ass up and I'll drop you off." "OMG thank you soooooo much Mike." "Hey I wanna come." said Tre acting like a baby. "Well we should all go so then at least one of us can pick her up after school so we can mall." said Billie Joe. "Oh o.k. Well then hurry up." said Mike.
So I grabbed all my school shit and jumped into the back seet of the car with Tre. "So whats your name kid?" asked Tre and Mike. "Oh I'm Melanie. So do you have any mall in particular you wanna go to tonigh?" I asked all of them. "No not really do you know a good one." Billie Joe said. "Well actually I do. It's downtown I'll tell you how to get there later. Thanks for the ride I'll see you guys later. Oh and Billie if Tre starts messing up my place call me on my cell." I said as I wrote my number down on his hand and jumpped out of the car.
Oh just in time I thought to myself as I walked into home room and the bell just went.
"Hey Melanie." Carolann screamed over at me. I went and sat down beside her. "What happened last night?" Oh I didn't want to tell her that Billie Joe was at my house. She would go crazy. She's just a big of a fan as me. "Oh umm... ya about that my brother came home for a bit and needed my help." I said. OMG that is the gayest lie could ever come up with. "O.k then." she said in diss belife. "Oh are we still on for tonight to go to the mall?" she asked. OMG I compleatly forgot about our plan. But I couldn't skipp out on Billie Joe. "Oh ya I don't know. I'll tell you at lunch forsure if I can or not o.k?" I said hopeing not to hurt her feelings. "Oh o.k."
So after home room I went into the bathroom and called Billie Joe. "Hello?" Billie Joe said on the other line. "Hey Billie Joe. OK I forgot that I was supposed to go shopping with another friend so I was wondering if she could come with us?" hopeing that they would say yes. "Hey guys.. Melanie wants to bring a friend along to the mall tonight do you mind?" I heard him say over the phone. "O.k" I heard them say. "They said it would be fine." said Billie Joe. "Oh thank you soo much. Oh ya and umm has Tre destroied anything yet?"
"No not yet he replied."
"Ok good."
I hung up and went to my next class. Then I met up with Carolann at lunch. "Hey ya umm I forgot I had plans with some other people to go shopping but they said that you could come with us if you want."
"Sure. Who are they?"
"Umm you'll find out when they pick us up after school. Oh ya I almost forgot. I got tickets and backstage passes to Green Day so would you want to come?"
"Sure. OMG how did yu get them." she asked
"I'd rahter not say." I said because I didn't want to tell her here that Green Day was at my house.
So at the end of the day Mike, Tre, and Billie Joe came and picked us up.
"OMG OMG OMG." was all that Carolann could say.
We went to her house and she got her money then to my house to get mine. Then we left fot the mall. When we arived they started shouting "I wanna go here. No I wanna go here. But I wanna go here." the argued to decide whosdirection that we should go in. "Hey shut it for a minute. First of this is my friend Carolann. And second me and here are shopping experts. So we are going to start at that end on the top and then go across and then down. O.k?" they all agreed that that was the simplest way. We stopped in a skateboarding shop and me and Carolann decided to that we were going to by clothes to wear to the concert. So we each baught a shirt from that store. And a pair of pants from the other skateboarding shop. Soon we were done buying our outfits. So we walked around with Green Day and then we were on the bottom of the mall. Tre and Billie Joe were looking at some shirts and me and Carolann decided to go and get some coffee. "Hey were are you going?" asked Billie Joe.
"Oh me and Carolann are going to get some coffee."
"Coffee?" Mikes ears pirked up when I said that. "I'm going with you."
"O.k." Carolann said.
So we went and got our coffee and met up with Billie Joe and Tre.
"Well we better get going the mall is going to close soon." I said.
"O.k."
So we dropped Carolann of at home.
"See you tomorow Carolann. I'll tell you when to come over and we can get ready." I said.
"O.k. Ya my mom can drive us there." she hollared back.
"Oh well why don't we just bring you there tomorow since we're going there anyways and I'm staying at your house." Billie Joe said.
"Well we dont want you to see what we're wearing to the concert. We want it to be a surprise." I said.
We arived at our house and Tre brought in some beer. We go totaly waisted and they all ended up stay over that night.
