You Never Know What Might Happen, chapter 14
We both basicly ate our salads in silence. I guess there isnt really much to talk about.
It was a nice silence. It wasnt one of thoe crappy awkward ones. I hate the awkward ones. I never know what to fucking say.
We finished our salads and we walked out of the restaurant hand in hand. Instead of going back to the car. I walked her down to the Bay.
"Isn't this Romantic?" I heard Jenn softly say.
"Yeah. I use to come down here when I was younger. Y'know, It would take all my pain away." I replyed in nothing more then a whisper.
" I know what you mean. I had this little tree fort that my dad made for me before he died. And after he died, I went there all the time, and it just took all my problems away" A tear falls down her cheek. I cant believe her dad died too.
"I cant believe your dad died. You never told me, I'm so sorry"I replyed in a whiper.
"Its alright. Its not your fault."
A few minutes pass by without talking, just looking out into the Bay. I decided to brake the silence
" Y'know. I never noticed how calm and peaceful the Bay is. The Sky reflecting down on the water and all three colors from the sky shine down on the water, and it all blends in to make the water a Pinky-Blue." I say kind of surprised at my own words.
Jenn looks at me a little stunned by my words also. But she replys anyway;
"Yeah. It is beautiful isnt it" She says looking into the Bay.
The sky was a mis of Pink, Purple and some Blue from the day sky. It all looks so beautiful.
I cant believe I'm saying this. Me, Billie Joe Amrstrong, have a soft side? Wow. But.. I guess all Rock stars have a softside right? Mine is just bigger then most, thats all. Yeah.. it just bigger.
Hmm... Why am I thinking this at all?
"Billie.. Uh... BJ?"
" Oh.. Yeah.. Sorry Babe."
" Its alright, just you were starting to scare me, thats all"
"Yeah, I was just thinking"
"You know what?" Jenn says. " I could stay here forever, In your arms and watching the water."
"Y'know, I could do the same thing. Having the love of my life in my arms forever." I reply. There I go. Sounding all corny again.
"Your so cute" Jenn says starting to laugh
" Well. As long as you say I'm sexy next, Then we wont have a problem." I say winking and grinning evilly at Jenn.
"Alright, deal"
I cant believe, I'm going to have a kid, and Im also going to Marry the love of my life.
the thought wasnt overwhelming. but I had butterflies in my stomach, they were anxious and nervous, and also filled with some excitement, bout what was going to happen in the next few months.
I look over at Jenn who is sound alseep in my arms.
I pick her up and carry her to the car. I put her in the passenger seat, Buckle her up and I get in my side, start the car and drive off to the hotel.
