Quebec City - Colisee Pepsi Center, May 1st, 2005
That was my first Green Day concert. I had been looking for like 3 months to this show.
So My friend and I waited outside for like 4 hours and it was raining. We got in at 6:00 and it was honestly, one of the most violent moment in my life. People fighting to get inside and kids getting punched in the face. Some were lying on the floor and they were trying to get back on their feet but couldn't. I finally made my way on the ice and I was right in front of the fucking stage. Could not have been closer. So the set of My Chemical Romance finally started with Helena. They were pretty good but the sound really sucked. Anyway, they finished with I'm Not Okay.
And then the usual wait...
Then, the Rabbit came on the stage... 2 beers.. and Green Day arrived! They pulled out a kick-ass show. Hmmm, what hapenned. A 12 years old kid came on the stage with Billie Joe to water the crowd and Billie Joe asked him to dance like an idiot for like 2 min in front of everyone... kinda funny but the kid had probably the best time of his life.
Then during Holiday, Billie Joe yelled "My name is George W. Bush" everyone booed him "My name is actually ASS-HOLE!! " and the crowd went nuts. Then, Knowledge came and Billie Joe chose his guitarist

- Sébastien. (trying to pronouce it with some kinda english accent to look cool)
- Where are you from?
- Beauport (with the biggest ever quebec accent ever seen...was hilarious)
- How old are you?
- 21.
- And for how long have u been playing guitar?
- 10 years.
- And did u ever had some sex before that?
- Nope.
- Well, you're about to get some!
So he came on the stage to get the guitar and Billie Joe kissed the guy! Anyway, they were pretty good, the guy kept the guitar and the bassist made a stage dive.
The show went on and Green day simply kicked my fucking ass off.
There were definately 2 many fucking 12 years old girls on the floor. Even if most of the them asked the security guards in front of the stage to move them to somewhere else, it was annoying to see them, sitting on the floor crying because it was getting a little bit 2 violent...
