St. Louis, MO - Sawis Center, May 12th, 2005
I went to the Green Day concert on May 13th and it was the best night of my life!
Tons of concert merchandise was for sale, including shirts with tour dates on the back, ties like billie joe's, and more.
The show started off with My Chemical Romance who was amazing. They got the whole crowd pumped up, screaming, jumping, and singing along. They thanked everyone for coming out and said that before Green Day came out we would have to get to the next level. So the screaming got louder and finally they said thanked us again and left the stage.
There was about a 15-20 minute wait after My Chemical Romance because they had to take down the set and put up Green Day's set. So to keep the crowd entertained there was a pink bunny that came on stage and chugged beers, and danced to the YMCA. And he was mysteriously wearing shoes that looked like the ones that Jason White was wearing later on in the show. Finally Green Day came out and went straight into American Idiot. The rest of the songs and events went in this order:
1. American Idiot - Billie Joe thanked us for coming out and got us all singing along
2. Jesus of Suburbia - crowd surfing began and the energy became more intense
3. Holiday - all hands were in the air
4. Are We The Waiting - Billie Joe said "this song is called St. Jimmy!" but then he sand are we the waiting, I don't know if it was a test or what. But we got to sing the 'Are we, we are. Are we, we are the waiting' parts.
5. St. Jimmy - now he actually sang St. Jimmy
6. Longview
7. Hitchin' A Ride - before he started singing he had us repeat after him by going "1,2,1,2,3,4". Then later on he had us repeating "Hey...oooh" then just "oooh" he told us to keep going then before you know it he had his hands down his pants.

9. Jaded
10. Knowledge - this is when they picked people to come up and play with them. The guy chosen for the drums was really good and got to keep the drum sticks. The bass player was good as well and he had to do a stage dive. The girl chosen for the guitar was clueless so Billie Joe told her to get off his stage, then he picked a guy who actually knew what he was doing and he got booed because he was from Chicago. But he got to keep the guitar.
This was also around the time that Billie Joe introduced everyone.
Mike: "The man that looks great naked.. MIKE DIRNT!".
Tre: "The man I like to shower with... TRE COOL!" Tre' ran around all over the stage while pleasuring hiself with a drum stick.
Billie Joe: "And I am George W. Bush! *boos* Actually my name is asshole! *cheers*"

13. King For A Day - Billie Joe had a crown and cape on, Tre had a pink fuzzy hat on, Jason had on a green hat and platform shoes and Mike seemed to be wearing a top hat
14. Shout - Everyone was told to jump and sing along
I believe this was the encore
15. Wake Me Up When September Ends - everyone had cell phones, and lighters out and were waving them in the air while swaying back and forth.

17. Maria - I was surprised how many people didn't know the song!
18. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
19. We Are The Champions - they did a great job covering this classic queen song
Everyone but Billie Joe left the stage.
20. Good Riddance - Billie Joe got his electric guitar and went out on the catwalk and performed this song all by himself. It was amazing!!
And that was the end except for Tre running on stage with an armfull of sticks and tossed them into the crowd, then running off.
If you haven't seen them live yet, then you're out of your mind. If you think the CD's are great, it sounds even better live!
