Cobo Arena/ Detroit, MI, November 5th, 2004

OMG. It was my first real concert ever. Baha men (sad but true) and Brand New at a local Rocabillies store were the only other ones. Green Day rocked the stage with Sugar Cult and New Found Glory right before them. Every one was into it. Lucky people in the pit got to come on stage and become a 'mini band.' In which the person called on stage to play the guitar got a kiss from Billie Joe and the Stratocaster guitar as a gift. I had the closest seats to the stage besides the pit. I could see them running around backstage before anyone in the arena even knew they were in the room / coming on stage. It was awsome. Their opening act was a pink bunny drinking booze and getting the crowd excited as he did the dance to the YMCA. Overall it was the best experience I had ever had in mY LIFE!!! A highlighted moment was when Billie Joe reached into his pants and pretended to masturbate to the likes of Detroit. If I could recomend any one to go see a band live.. I'd have to say GREEN DAY cuz they know how to "ROCK UR SOX" right off!
