Actually thats not a stupid question at all. I couldnt even figure it our on my own, i had my uncle show me. haha. so you can get font at,
http://www.dafont.com/
Before you go and download make a new folder in your documents titled fonts.
put the font that you download there. after its downloaded go to that folder.
click on the font that you just downloaded. there should be 2-4 things now. Just look to the left and click the button that says extract all files. Now its going to have a part on there that has where to put it, even if it already says this, redo it. put it in your fonts folder. now go to start>accessories>windows explorer. from there go to your font folder. once u find it and ur font look to the left and push the button to hide the my documents part. MAKE SURE U DONT OPEN ANYTHING! If you accendently hit something the part where ur font is will change so us the buttons on the side to hide and only click once. now drop my computer down where u can see it. now it depends what type of comp u have but since mines vista i have to drop down another tab but mess around and find a tab that has a 'windows' folder.
once u find it drop it down. then go through that list and try to find Fonts. Then just drag the copy of ur font that has the T's on it (true type) into the fonts folder. if photofiltre is alread open close it thn reopen it and ur font should be there.
