Well I don't know about none of those making the world a slightly better place. I think it all depends on what you would photograph or where exactly you would be involved with cinematography - I think if you stayed, I hesitate to use this word, but "independent" you might be attributing to the world being a little bit more pleasant, especially if you stayed out of Hollywood and didn't turn everything you were involved in into a money making machine. Also, I've always thought people who are more into the independent side of things appreciate film and the work that goes behind it more so than people who just go to the theater on a Saturday out of boredom.
D: I could never be a doctor or lawyer. What would happen if a patient died or a client went to prison because you couldn't defend them well enough? I don't know about you, but I'd quite immediately. I possess an over active guilt complex.
Really? I didn't know that. All I knew was that all the major cities and states had high unemployment rates, and the places that had the lowest were in Bumf*ck Nowhere. Like Texas, Kansas, Utah...states that don't offer a lot of recognition, nor culture. There was a list of statistics on yahoo a few weeks ago. Do you have what you want to be narrowed down at all? I know exactly what you mean about the dilemma of wanting to do something meaningful but also making sure it's something you enjoy. I keep tossing around a few ideas, but all of the ones I think I might like require at least a 4 year degree, and I don't feel like I've got 4 years. I don't want to waste any time or money on something I'm not 100% sure about, you know? >_< I get pretty panicky too. Hear the clock ticking louder and louder and *scream*
Ah yes I know why. Hm. Reliving the past sucks, let's look to the future. I'm still trying to save up cash so I can travel once I hit 18, but I'm simultaneously writing a book so maybe instead of telling people I don't have a job I can tell them I write books for a living. It's cool to know an author, it isn't so cool to know a jobless kid who appears to be too lazy to go to college. So, whataboutchu? I think I remember something about community college...
xD It's an old R.E.M. song, the title makes it sound sweet but really the guy narrating is just calling his girl (or guy) "a simple prop, to occupy my time".
*shrug* Strawberries are strawberries man. Unless they're genetically altered with D: That's one thing that freaks the hell out of me.
Hm. I go through a few key ones. To be quite honest I think I was happier this time last year than I am now. >_O
Thanks to google and wikipedia nobody has to dig around for anything much these days.
xD I see I confused you, nvm
Uh...idkmybffjill? The cheapo sh*t that my mother buys. Umpqua....which, technically, isn't really ice cream at all. It's non fat frozen yogurt because my mother and sister think if they eat non fat they won't gain any more weight. The problem with this theory is they still eat 6 bowls of it in a week and it's got a crapload of sugar.
xD You mean common knowledge to anyone who is a fan of the German soccer/football team. Ah...so object of my affections would imply you look at your love as the narrator in "The One I Love" ... I'm on a kind of old school kick right now. o.O Right, which is why I used strawberry ice cream.
