Writing guidelines
So, you want to get involved with writing articles? Is writing your passion? Are you just really bored? Then take the time to read this and see what you can do. If you wish to write an article, there are a few simple guidelines that we ask you follow:
- It has to be about Green Day. What your cat ate for breakfast is cool and all, but the article section is reserved for Green Day related topics only.
- No plagiarizing, at all. All work you submit has to be original, and we do check carefully. Do not take credit for someone else's work. Articles with plagiarized material will not be posted on the site.
- Your topic needs to be creative. All articles we have on the site are staying, so don't write about a subject that's already been covered. Make it something unique and informative you think others would be interested in reading.
- Edit and spell check your articles, and be sure to use proper grammar. Everyone makes a few typos, but if your article doesn't make sense and abuses the English language, we can't use it. Let your literacy shine through.
So, with those things in mind, if you are still interested in writing articles, you can submit your article in this topic on our message board. Your article will then be checked and proofread. If it meets the criteria stated above and we like it, you'll see it on the site soon.
Any questions you may have about article writing can be posted on our Message board.
