Marijuana.
So my brother does pot.
Not every day, but enough for me to be extremely dissapointed in him.
For me, I never have and never will take any recreational drugs. These are psychoactive, or mind-altering, and why would I want to lose control of myself for a short, unreal period of euphoria?
Obviously, many drugs have long-term negative effects, and while marijuana (taken in a usual dosage) has these to a much lesser degree, it's short-term effects can include anxiety, forgetfulness, concentration troubles, a distorted sense of perception, an increased heart rate, dry mouth and throat, and many other things.
You have about an hour to two hours of happiness and relaxation (or acute anxiety, for some people), but since weed has been illegalized in the U.S, there can be severe consequences. It goes on your permanent record. You will NOT get into college. Fines. Jail time. It can be addictive.
Too much for me to risk losing myself and my future for.
Grass doesn't make you cool or "bad." But it in rare cases, it can cause mental disorders such as schizophrenia.
I don't know about you, but that sure doesn't sound fun to me.

Pot isn't addictive.
However, I guess that can be contraversial.
But pot leaves the body slowly, so you don't go through withdrawal symtoms. And also, it's a hell of a lot safer than smoking a cigarette

Yeah, well at least you don't want to try it again.

I've tried it once.
And hated it.
I felt like I was falling into a hole, and I just wanted to eat everything.
It's not fun.

one of my friends has smoked pot but he quit cause he felt physical pain. I'm not going to say i will abstain from all the drug stuff, since i dont know what will happen in the future, though i am curious XD but i suppose its nothing to lose your future to.
