Why Hate The Police?
[I have decided to place this in life as some of the opinions and views directly expressed represent me and things that have happened, although this is also suitable for politics since it involves laws, if you strongly believe this should move categories I will delete the blog and move it into the appropriate section.]
Okay, so maybe it’s not the police people hate, but the laws they enforce, but why hate the laws. Laws are there for a reason, for example, murder? Against the law for a reason, most laws have purposes.
Let’s imagine there was no law, who would care when someone broke in and took your computer? Its laws that stop this happening, well, yes I know that some people ignore the laws, but most people listen to them.
Now I’ll choose one of the most recent UK laws that you’re not allowed to use your mobile phone while driving, now can’t you see a purpose? The more attention people pay to the road, the more alert they are to problems, hence less accidents, and I have police in the family and they can hand on their heart say this has effected accident numbers.
The law enforces punishment. So now let’s imagine that your closest friend was killed, are you willing to let the person who did this get away, or do you want some form of punishment for them? Oh and killing them just starts a vicious circle, mass killings: not a good thing.
But now back to the police more specifically. Recently I had some issues and problems and the police got involved. Now, I didn’t know them personally but they treated me like they did, and I thank them.
Okay, so maybe you might have some issues against the law, but first of all, don’t take this out on the police, and second of all, think about a place with no laws, imagine that.
Thanks For Reading And I Hope This All Made Sense.x

Police do the best they can to protect us. Sometimes you have isolated incidents where they do more damage than good but overall, they're good guys. They just get a bad rep. I mean if they're willing to go in the line of fire protecting me then they can't be all bad.

The law is good, a lot of it is, some laws are rediculous, but its not the law im worried about, its people in the government that use the law as a way to make money. You see, my dad and i got booked for parking 20 centimetres over the parking line, and we had to pay them, it also happened again, but then we decided to take them to court, they backed out.

It made sense to me. I agree with you and things shouldn't be taken out on the police, they're only doing their job. But I just wanna say that mostly I do things because I know they are the right things to do, not because they are the law. But yeah you're right, good blog =]
