Dear Cutter

Dear Cutter,
I don't know what's become of you. You seem lost lately and it makes me sad to see you in such a state.
I don't think people really understand what's going on with you, but I do; I promise.

To the cutter who wants to feel no more:
There's too much going on in your life at once, and so it's hard to pinpoint what tipped you over the edge. Parents' divorce, loved one dying, fake friends... it could be anything that's on your mind. One thing's for certain, though- the bad is outweighing the good.

To the cutter who doesn't feel at all:
Your life is a monotonous cycle of uneventfulness. Maybe things are going on around you, but I guess you're immune to them by now. I'm worried about you, cutter. I fear that one day you'll decide that there's no point in this endless torrent of similarity.

To the attention cutter:
People accuse you of just being a self-absorbed attention-seeking teenager, but I see differently. I think that this need for attention is a symptom of a larger problem than the normal period of disgruntled teenagerhood. It's easy to mock you with a 'Someone's dad didn't hug them enough!', however it's apparent you were deprived of something essential to a healthy life.

I don't know, cutter, you just appear out of sorts of recent days.
I hope I can help.
