Why I absolutely love the Blogs.
So the new GSB brought alot of changes. Good ones. No, great ones. One of the best changes: the Blogs.
I remember the old journals. They were my favourite place and so much fun. But many, maybe most of the entries were rather pointless journals and whenever someone wrote something meaningful no one or barely anyone read it and they went off the list so fast. I don't wanna be hyporitical because I also was one of the people who mostly wrote pointless entries.
But with the change to the new GSB I got more and more interested in serious entries. I first started going to the Specific Discussion thread but then I more and more discovered the blogs.
And I fell in love with the Blogs
I love how people state their honest opinion here. And there are people who also listen to what you've got to say. In the old journals I barely had the impression that someone cared for entries that were longer than five sentences. In the Blogs you are also able to talk about serious things, politics, books, music, GSB or just simply your life. And much more.
It always amazes me about what different kind of things people write; things that I've never actually thought of, things that remind me of myself or things that get me interested. And they inspire me to write something, too.
I want to say good luck for the GSB Awards tonight to everyone who writes Blogs. Each and every one of you would deserve to win.
To finish, I want to thank Dujo and everyone who helped for creating the new GSB. And I want to thank everyone who comes here and reads and writes Blogs because you people make it such an interesting place on GSB.

Yes, I agree. I used to write a blog, but I felt a pressure to write interesting posts and post them on time so I wouldn't lose my readers. But here I know I can write whenever I want and someone will read it. Besides, I got good compliments and I always thought of myself as a bad writer. Good luck to everyone, tonight.

The blogs are an amazing component of GSB. I was really excited when Dujo told me about them, and even more excited when he asked me to moderate them. This was a really sweet blog 8 )

But I feel the same way about the blogs. If I have a problem, people listen to me here and they give me great ideas.
