My Desk
My desk. It's always a mess and riddled with gum wrappers. Occasionally, it has a cat lying on everything which I suppose does make it look a bit cleaner, but when the cat leaves it looks messy again, with added cat fur for effect.
The reason I want to talk about my desk, though, is because it's what I see everyday. I spend many hours a day sitting at it. Typing away on my computer, doing homework, and littering it with gum wrappers.
It's home to my computer screen, mouse, keyboard and speakers. My CD collection, which has made its way out of the CD rack a long long time ago. Not due to the fact that I don't put CD's away. Because I do. There's just no more room in the rack to hold them all.
It houses my lamp. My ultra spiffy blue lamp, which I happened to snap a bit off the first day I got it. It's home to my two favourite piggy banks and a rubix cube, of which I've had for 9 years and have never got close to solving.
I can store stuff in my desk, for it has three drawers. One is lockable. But, for some reason, the keys are always left in the lock, for fear of losing them. There's a drawer I have dubbed my stationary drawer. Although I have doubts to how much stuff in there could actually be classified as stationary. And lastly, the bottom drawer houses miscellaneous stuff. Last time I opened it, I had trouble closing it. So it stays closed now. Well, at least until I ever need to open it again.
So there you have it. My desk. Home to my most precious possessions (sometimes). And home to me, most of the time.

My desks tiny. I can just about fit my screen, speakers, mouse, keyboard, webcam and the usual cup of coffee on there.
