I thought it'd be nice to share and reminice about my high school for you guys.
I'm going to say some stuff about my high school.
I'm my school, we don't have 'Cliques' We have 'Groups'. People say in their group and hardly venture out. the one exception I guess, Is myself. I'll share the groups, The alliances, the Dating habits, And Rivalries.
Seeing as I am an aspiring psychologist, I go into detail and stuff like that.
If you don't belive in labels, Id rather not fight. So.. don't waste your time.
The Preps
The famous Preps. What can I say about the preps in my school. Rich, 'Good' Side of the neighborhood. They wear short skirts and tight shirts from Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle, and the 'hard core' Preps cover all their books in shopping bags from those stores [In case your not from The US, Or don't understand what I mean by 'covering books in shopping bags' It's basically cutting up a cardboard kind of bag and covering the book as to not damage it] And have a 'signature' By signature, I mean they have a specific way of writing their names in huge letters with hearts wherever allowed. The preps consider it a shame to get in any sorts of trouble, Swear, Or get into any type of face to face confrontation.
The athletes
the Athletes consist of the girl preps, And the guys. The guy athletes Also wear name brand Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, Clothing. They are seen with and date the preps. They NEVER get into trouble and ALWAYS have straight A's and are mentioned in the school newspaper.
The Emos
the Emo's wear tapered pants, Converses, and are popular. They punch the lenses out of horn-rimmed glasses. They are friends with almost everyone. They cling to tight groups and are always seen laughing. Why are they emo? Basically because they dress the part and blast Screamo songs out of their ipods.
The Skaters
The Skaters, Or how I love to put it, 'The wannabe Punks' Are basically rich kids that dress like punks but a lot nicer. they have there little skateboards and Try to pick fights with others. I don't like any skaters to be honest... They are all so annoying to me. they are rebellious, I give them that. But they are stupid with it.
The Goths
Corsets, Big boots, Stripped tights, Long black skirts. Sculls. Black hair. What else? They are soft-spoken and normally get along with everyone. I wonder into this group occasionally. But when I do I stand out. Goths would rather get hung than wear bright clothes, Or stand out, In any way. They have to be a quiet, Dark, Brooding 'fade into the background' group. I spend time with them when I want calm and rest.
The Punks
The famous Punks. The most hated group. It's not hard to pick out the small number of kids in this [or 'my'] Group. We are generally loud, Rebellious, Cocky, Arrogant, snide, Crude and overall disgusting. If you are in this group, Your in and you can't be seen being anything but rude to the other groups, With the exception or me. I know it sounds kind of crappy. But we are a family within a group. We seem very unfriendly and rude but if one of us is having a shit day, Can't afford lunch, Get kicked out of our houses, Get beat up, Or is suffering an injustice, We are always there for one another. Were all bond by some hurt or injustice that makes us very, very strong friends.
The gangsters
The Gangsters.. Are just gangsters. Loud. Baggy Clothes, I've dated some. Not to special to be honest.
And finally..
The terrible twosome
One, Short, Loud-mouthed, Fire temper, Black as cocoa. One pale as snow, Tall, Brooding, sneering. Me and my best friend. We’ve been stuck together since 2nd grade. Since we were 6 years of age. Nobody sees one without the other. Were practically sisters. Even though we are 'visually' Opposite as white and black, We are the same inside.
Don't be offended by this, I don't want everyone jumping down my throat ._.

I wish we had groups like that here 'cos where I am (crappy little English town) everybody's more or less the same. It's boring as hell.

I don't really use labels, but I understand this blog.
Chances are I'd probably fit in with "The Punks" but I dunno.
I guess wherever you go there will always be types of "groups" to define people and I know that won't ever change.

I'm not offended, that was an honest take on what you see at your school. Actually it's nice to know I'm not the only one who has seen emo's laugh. Most preps do have a tendency to look down on others SLN, not often to your face though. And that will never bring you respect. Good blog DDF. PS skaters annoy me too.

They're not too arrogant.
It's the skanks you have to worry about.
