She's cutting herself and I don't know what to do anymore.
My best friend is cutting herself and I don't know what to do. She said it was because she was angry but there are so many other things she could do instead. I'm scared and I can't think of anything to do. What should I do? I've talked to her but she just changes the subject everytime.

i've delt with stuff like this before friends, and family doing stuff like that. Some times she says she wants to be left alone but sometimes that means if you leave her alone you're telling her that you've given up on her. But don't smother her and still trust her. She'll realize how much you care. All you can do now is just be there for her, and be a good friend. There's a saying "It's going to hurt before it helps"

She doesn't know. It's not attention, I'm the only one that knows. I think she wants help and I've considered letting her be but it's not helping.

Comfort her, and even if you end up in a fight it's because you care. Try to make her stop and make her let out her anger a different way. Cutting isn't right as much as it feels right. I understand that it can make things feel better, but it's not right to take it all out on yourself. You're being a very good friend by worrying though. Be there for her at all costs. I hope this helped and I hope she'll be ok.

Yea so no one else doesnt know her (execpt you) and yet they want to waste there time trying to help. I've been going through this too and I know that some ppl want to be left alone.

How would you know if she doesn't want anyone to care? Or if leaving her alone would even help? She's my best friend and maybe, just maybe, she wants someone to ask her if everything is alright once in a while. But you wouldn't know that. You don't know her.
